The seating area to the back of the room is the perfect spot to perch with a good book for some downtime, while the desk space here, too, invites you to catch up on work if needed. The covered balcony area brings the outdoors in with its walls of glass, while the pared-back bedrooms offer the ideal canvases for a dreamy night’s sleep. Factor in the sleek bathroom with its rainfall shower, and you’ve got everything you need for a carefree stay. When it comes to sightseeing nearby, you’ve got plenty from which to choose. Visit the 18th-century Igreja de Santo Ildefonso (a six-minute walk), admire the ornate Livraria Lello bookstore (a thirteen-minute walk) and soak up some history at Porto Cathedral (also a thirteen-minute walk). With Clérigos Tower a fourteen-minute stroll and Cais da Ribeira walkable in eighteen, you’ve got easy access to the best the city has to offer.
