Property overall was okay in terms of cleanliness and such. Checkout was very easy. There were only 3 pillows on the bed and they were incredibly flat with no support. My wife had to use towels to get enough support for her neck. The only lights in the room were overhead lights, which were incredibly bright. It would have been nice to have some lamps to have some dimmer ambient lighting for comfort. The maid walked in on us in the morning despite the Do Not Disturb Sign on the door, despite us yelling at the door that we were still in here, and despite it not being check out time yet.

There were crock roaches everywhere

I had a trip to Galveston. And I couldn’t find a reasonable hotel in Galveston. I reserved at Scottish Inns. Thinking it would be a little drive to Galveston. But the front desk suggested a shortcut and I got to Galveston in less time. Plus the rooms was great! Clean bed and clean restroom. Will stay again.

Check in was easy. The staff was polite. The room was clean. It was a nice stay for one night before we got on our cruise. While the staff was polite, he wasn’t very friendly and didn’t make me feel very welcome. The towels were so thin and hard it was difficult to use them. The hotel advertised free breakfast but it was less than continental, there was yogurt that was not refrigerated, some packaged muffins and a waffle maker. While i enjoyed my one night stay, i cannot recommend to anyone staying more than one night

Dog barked all night, children nosy playing late at night. People out loud all night

Comfortable at a great price. The breakfast party is it was not good. It was not ready early in the morning and there was hardly anything in the kitchen to really can it a breakfast area. 1 room 1 table with 4 chairs. The breakfast area has a big part of my choice to rent those rooms.

There are roaches. Staff was super friendly and rooms were overall clean but unfortunately I have a huge phobia of roaches and we wont be staying here again! :(

We had stayed here before and liked it because it was easy to get to and the place was very clean.

Was definitely better than expected and the room was definitely in great condition and actually matched the photo for a change

Wish the hotel had an elevator inside or something to get to the second floor other than that it was great …

The property was nice. Staff were attentive and the location was great. My room was clean when I arrived and was restocked with towels everyday when we returned to the hotel.

Great place to stay, 3rd time customer, will stay again.

We came here to go to Galveston for the beaches and it was very clean and smelled clean up on arrival and then we got to our room and it was very nice and clean also had a fridge, microwave, and stove top and they provide pots and dishes, etc. was well worth it!

The property was decent but the only knock was how thin the walls were and the ac system someone next to us was smoking who knows what and it got into our room their fighting was loud

Pictures misrepresented what the site actually is like. Arrived and there was nobody in the office for check in. There was no parking for my truck and little room to navigate. Ended up having to book another place in order to get to my work event on time. After fighting weather and traffic all day this was the worst experience I have ever had with a check in.

The room and grounds were very well maintained. The room was exceptionally clean and staff very friendly and helpful. I will definitely book there again next time I go home for a visit.

I saw lots of dead roaches outside on the second floor walkway. A German cockroach was crawling on the outside window. Didn’t see any in the room. It was comfortable enough. Room was mostly clean. There was hard water build up on the drain plug, so it would go down and I scraped my foot on it because the nonstick mat slipped while I was showering. Appreciated being able to bring my dog, but the area to take them potty was filthy from people not picking up after the dogs. The breakfast was okay, had a waffle, cereal, yogurt. I only stayed one night but appreciated the kitchenette and actual refrigerator rather than a tiny dorm size. Sheets were clean. It isn’t fancy but worked. And had a true My Cousin Vinny moment with the trains holding down their horns multiple times during the night.
