The property has a nice layout and was recently renovated with nice fixtures/decor but overall the quality of the work was horrible which made our stay unpleasant. We let the manager know but the minor fixes weren’t enough to recommend this property. First the AC wasn’t working on the lower level. The weather was hot and it took 2 days/nights to fix. There’s a bad infestation of ants, roaches, centipedes, spiders and other bugs throughout the house. They were everywhere! They need to hire a professional pest control and fix all the holes/gaps in and outside the house to prevent them from coming in. That itself made the stay so uncomfortable and gross. The kitchen was not fully equipped. It was missing several essential items like a can opener, basic pots/pans, salt/pepper. What was there were old or bad condition. We saw black mold on the ceiling of shower in master bath on main level. The shower by bunk bed room on main level was leaking water to the downstairs. You can see the water stains on the ceiling. We were taking cold showers for most of the stay because the hot water runs out very quickly. The house is designed for up to 10 ppl, not even accounting when the dishwasher and laundry are being used. Clearly the hot water heater is not adequate enough for the property. The sliding door on the lower level didn’t lock which is safety/security issue for visitors. The first stair going downstairs was not installed correctly so it is unstable and unsafe.
