High Mountain View Getaway

Cabin was excellent location for easy access in and out of Sequoia Nat park. It was quiet and remote and perfect for a weekend getaway as a couple. Kori was super helpful with the check in process as we arrived late. She provided helpful instructions because service is iffy on the ranch and met us at the property entrance. Highly recommend! Cabin had everything we needed and our favorite part was the close by swimming hole after a long day of hiking!

This was a wonderful place to stay for a week away. We loved the cabin and the location was perfect. Super easy access to Sequoia and Kings Canyon parks. The hosts were great, and provided us with some really helpful tips in advance on where to shop, visiting the parks, and what the place was like. Highly recommend taking time to explore the ranch - the views are beautiful, the swimming is cool and refreshing, and the horses are friendly! If we ever make it back out this way, this is the first place we'll look.

We loved the cabin. It was clean, secluded and well stocked. Kori was great. We had trouble connecting with Kori at check in, because of our T-Mobile phones. She was very gracious to meet us at the grocery store in town and lead us back to the cabin. The weather was pretty hot that week, and Kori had the air conditioner on before we got there. There is a beautiful view of the sierras from the front porch, we enjoyed having breakfast out there.

The cabin and surroundings are sweet. We chose to not go down to the river after being warned about (docile) rattlesnakes.
We enjoyed the uniqueness of this property, as it’s the opposite of our normal city life!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain View Getaway. It's a bit off the beaten track but that's what I was looking for. It had everything we needed, was clean and just the right size for the two of us. The view was beautiful and quiet apart from the sound of the river below. The hostess was great and gave good directions and suggestions for the area.

Caretaker Kori was best ever ! Even though had very late night checkin ,she was there for us to open the cabin and help us get situated.. she even has started a fire in the wood burning stove for us !!!
Ranch setting was like a national park the beautiful hiking trails, wildflowers, and even a waterfall.
Highly recommend this little slice of heaven

We stayed in the getaway cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The host was gracious and patient with our arrival time as we had limited cell service to communicate. The property is located just minutes from the national park entrance and local amenities such as gas and general store but you quickly forget anyone is around when you are on the tranquil grounds. The cabin has everything you need to stay comfortably and the wood burning stove works marvelously. I hope to visit again soon!
