Property was very clean and staff friendly. The location was central to everything and walkable distance to shopping and beach.

It was really clean and had everything we could want. The bed was really comfy. easy to find. Clear instructions send to us via email.

The noisy bats/birds early in the morning in the nearby trees. Didn’t really bother us but they did wake me up.

Place was clean and comfortable and well presented. It was well stocked and if you are after an air bnb style accomodation then it is fine. It is a decent walk to Hastings Street although with some hills so you need to be fit and motivated. Personally, I found the walk pleasant.

To be clear, this is NOT an apartment. It is a granny flat underneath someone's home. It is an air bnb type arrangement which I was not looking for. I was informed in the welcome email that the owners lived upstairs and would not bother me, which I found odd. I had assumed based on the description of the property that it was an apartment in a unit complex so was very disappointed to arrive at someone's home. I had paid attention to the description of this property and photos, all which to me read apartment. Within 5 minutes of arriving as I was unpacking the car, I was approached by the owner who was nosey and intrusive. I was visiting friends so was not there at all except to sleep but this was not a space I would have felt comfortable to stay and enjoy during the day. At night and early morning, you could hear the footsteps of the home owners as they moved around the house. I am fairly certain they entered the property whilst I wasn't there as I had put bags against the internal door which were moved upon my return. As I was packing up to depart, which was two hours before check out, the owner asked for blankets so they could be washed, again, unnecessary and intrusive. Overall, it felt intrusive and awkward and I am most displeased by the misleading marketing on this property.
