Extremely overpriced for what it was. Cereal left in rooms was out of date. Loud music and people playing pool until 12.45am under my room. TV remote not working. Battery compartment taped up. No hot water in the basin. Curtain hanging off. No light shades. Electrical extension leads randomly on the floor creating a tripping hazard.

The fridge in our room had mold in it. The "dining table" in the common room was so sticky that my fork stuck to it. There were no dinner plates in the common room - only bowls. The hotel had no dining room which was a genuine surprise meaning we had to go out, buy frozen meals, and then bring them back to the hotel to cook in the microwave provided in the common room. I can only assume that the cutlery was clean but was concerned that it was left out all night and presumably had cockroaches crawling all over it. My wife and I would have cleaned the dining table but there was no basin/tap in the common room and no facilities provided for washing/drying dishes.

During the day an awful smell of sewerage within the building,not in the bedroom fortunately. New mattress wouldn't go astray

Our room (no 4) was clean and comfortable and quite adequate for an overnight stay. It was not large but big enough and right alongside the lady's bathroom. There was a small fridge, kettle and provisions for tea and coffee as well as cereal.

Lovely lounge room with kids books. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise.

Just didn't know how to return the key in the morning, no big deal.

Breakfast wasn't offered with our stay. The location was great.

I didn't like that there was no free breakfast with our stay as i always look for accommodation that offers this.

mens and womens bathrooms are on complete opposite sides of the hotel- but they were nice facilities otherwise.

The location was good

The fact that loud music was played directly below us and I had to go down on both nights of our stay became frustrating. The hotel owners can’t have it both ways; have blaring music until midnight then until 2am and also expect paying travelers who need a good night’s sleep to be contented

Hi, we wish, to inform you of the unfit accommodation at the Cornwall Hotel located 20 Ryan Street, Moonta SA 5558. Our Employees checked in on Tuesday 04 October 2022, with checkout scheduled for Sunday 09 October 2022. Our staff reported that there was a bird & bird nest in the room. Their rooms were not clean & the bedding had not been changed. We have photographic evidence of the bird & the bird nest in the room. Due to the unsanitary state of the accommodation, we were forced to cancel the booking & find alternative accommodation. It has also been difficult to contact booking.com, we have made several complaints to booking.com with no communication. We are expecting a reply back by the end of this week Friday 09th December 2022.
