Great house, great location, very accommodating owner. Kyle was a great host, house was very clean and we had a great time. Would definitely recommend.

This house was the perfect size, located close to the beach, restaurants, and the ferry to Galveston.

We had a wonderful stay and Kyle was an exceptional host. We would most certainly stay there again. I will say that I read some reviews about the "firm beds" These are very high end and I had the best nights sleep. I am now a big believer in a firm mattress over a soft one.

It was a nice property and close to the beach. The beach stayed fairly busy even for off season.

Great location! Bed were very comfortable and plenty of amenities in the restrooms. One thing I may recommend is there were bugs in sink and did not look like it was fully cleaned. Also, I would replace the tabs under the light switches that are old and peeling. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed 6 nights for a family vacation and had a wonderful time. The house is a 3 minute walk from the beach and that was a big plus. The kitchen is fully stocked with prett much anything you need to cook with, but bring your meat thermometer, lol, that was the only thing i couldnt find in the kitchen. The Air fryer worked, coffee pot with kcup worked great. Grill outside worked. Picnic table out side was great to gather and eat or play cards. The beds are very firm. Of course, it is a bi-level beach house, so make sure everyone in your party can climb stairs. Make sure to bring the mosquito repellent spray- those skeeters are way meaner than the ones we have in Houston! We would stay again-very enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our stay... Fenced yard and gate at top of stairs were a huge plus for us and our small dog. Great location, super easy beach access! Kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill. Beds are quite firm but linens were nice. Amazing communication with property owner. Responded to messages and helped with all needs we had. Would stay again

Great house, close to beach. House is well equipped. Ocean views are great. Close walk to beach. Fenced yard for our dogs was a huge plus. The arcade game was also a big hit. We truly enjoyed our stay here and the host was absolutely fabulous. He was very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Hame House is in a perfect location for a short walk to the beach and has all the amenities of home. The house is very modern and has pretty much everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The beds are a little on the firm side, but still comfortable. The house is very clean and we very much enjoyed our stay here. Kyle is a very responsive and easy to work with host. I will no hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a great stay and the 5 star treatment!

The board games, game room style video game, and hot tub made our stay at Hame’ beach house extra special! Like adding a cherry on top of a sundae!! We walked back and forth from beach to house. Perfect location to and from from beach!

Fantastic from start to finish. Very quick response to all questions before arrival. House is very nice with everything you could ask for and more! Perfect location close to restaurants, grocery store, etc. Beach was so fun. House was full of games and laughter at night. All in all, fantastic vacation and I highly recommend. We would definitely stay again!!

The Hame House was absolutely amazing! Perfect location close to the beach, and great view! The hot tub and screened porch made for a great place to relax and enjoy the sunset and evenings. This home has all the extras, soap/shampoo/conditioner/dish soap in containers available for guests to use, a very well stocked kitchen, quality utensils and dinnerware. This home was the perfect place for our family vacation. We enjoyed an awesome and relaxing week and can’t wait to go back again. We highly recommend using the guidebook that is sent once you book the home. The owner was very thoughtful in setting this up and sending it, we used it to pick places to eat and find hidden gems that we may not otherwise have tried. We enjoyed the home, and restaurants, food trucks, a fishing trip, and parasailing in Crystal Beach. Our teens loved it all, and this vacation was one we won’t forget. The owner was very responsive and thoughtful throughout- highly recommended to anyone looking to book the perfect home for the perfect vacation!

Loved this property. The fenced yard was great for our dog! The beds were a little hard and I wished there was more seating in the living room and also on the un-screened section of the deck but the house was clean and nice. We rented a golf cart but liked that it was walking distance to beach!

Kyle was a wonderful host, and the house exceeded our expectations. We chose this property because of the amenities (hot tub, ping pong table, beach proximity), and so we could bring our family dog! We would definitely book here again.

My family (kids ages 7, 10, and 13) and my in-laws stayed at Hame House for 4 nights. I was pleased with it's proximity to the ocean. We still rented an 8-passenger golf cart just because we are lazy and do not like carrying all of our gear down to the sand. I can confidently say the beach house deserves a 5-star review. It's super clean, and the beach is VERY close. My boys loved the NBA Jam arcade machine and playing the Nintendo when they needed a break from the sun. My 'complaints' would be the mattresses are a bit hard, and I wasn't wild about the screened-in porch. It would be better to just sit outside by the hot tub and feel the ocean breeze. It is not as white/bright overall as it looks in pictures. I thought it was going to be a white kitchen. Also it looks a lot more spacious in the pictures. I recommend going to Stingaree early (first try was a 2-hour wait), bucket of beers at Nauti Beaver Hut and shopping was great at The Salty Mermaid . . . was sad that Latitude was closed and Steve's Landing closed too . . . boo! In summary, staying here was a pleasure! My boys loved it and it's just so easy to make summer memories in CB. Happy Beach Days, Jill

We booked the Hamé House for a “redo 40th birthday” weekend since mine was during the pandemic. We had 2 adult couples and one teenager. Teen loved having her own room w/ spacious bunks! The house was adorable and accommodated us perfectly! The views and amenities were on point. Hot tub w/ ocean view was a bonus!! Beach entrance was a few steps away, but driving on the beach was super helpful. Be sure to purchase a beach pass at any local store. Check-in and check-out was super easy! Communication w/ Kyle could not have been more efficient! We’ll definitely be back! ☺️

My family of 4 (husband, myself, daughter and furkid) loved this house and had an incredible time! Couple of things to note. Based off some other comments we brought our own collapsible chairs so that we could enjoy the balcony and ocean breeze! The weather was perfect and thankfully not buggy so we took advantage of sitting and looking out at the ocean view! Since we were so close to the beach we just brought a wagon and it was a short walk. Neighborhood was very quiet and not a lot of cars/golf carts going by which was nice. The king bed is firm. Too firm for me but not something that ruined my trip at all. We stayed in and cooked our entire trip and all kitchen essentials and more were there! Kyle went over and beyond and was an excellent host! The propane tank seemed light and he had a new one put in the next day before we grilled again! Highly recommend Hame House!!

What a great property for a Mother’s Day getaway with the family. The house everything that we needed for an entertaining and comfortable trip. It’s a great space and the host was very prompt in communication if we had an questions or issues. It’s a spacious and safe property and within a short walk to the beach. Easily a place I would come back to visit and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Crystal Beach. I can say we utilized everything the house had to provide and wished we had a couple more days to enjoy. Ample towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils and appliances to use to our liking and then some. You won’t be disappointed.

Overall the property was nice and clean. I believe it was newly remodeled. When we got there, several light bulbs were out and a door was coming off its hinges. When we called the property management, they were very responsive and came out quickly to repair the items. My main issue with the property was the mattresses. They were so hard, I felt like I was sleeping on the floor. I was not able to get the much needed rest. The spa was nice and clean. Would've been nice to have patio seating without cushions outside on the deck. There was a screened in porch, which was nice for the bugs and had cushion seating, but they were all wet from the previous rain. The location and view are great for the beach and walkable access. On Saturday, when the weather was beautiful, the beach was very crowded. The main draw back was the excessively loud booming music coming from golf carts, ATVs, and vehicles driving by the area. Overall, Hame House was nice, but not as comfortable as was hoped for and not ideal for a quiet restful getaway at the beach.

The property and placement is absolutely perfect. Make sure your at least 25, but I could not have asked for a more perfect place.

Loved our stay over Easter weekend! So close to the beach, yet quiet being two rows back and not hearing all the beach traffic. Kids and “adults” loved all the games the home had to offer. Best was the retro Nintendo games, what a walk down memory lane. Make sure you check out the Ace Hardware! Wow we shopped for an hour and a half in there! Thanks again for a relaxing family holiday getaway.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Hame house! The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our kids had a great time with the ping pong table. Our pups loved the fenced in yard to roam around. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. We would definitely stay again!

This place was a gem!! PERFECT location! Perfectly clean. Comfortable furniture. The hot tub was a bonus! Good view! You can drive or walk to the beach which is right there. We had so much fun driving our car on the beach!

It is very well stocked and everything is top notch quality. There are plenty of games for indoor entertainment. We absolutely loved the hot tub on the deck!!! The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach. The house was amazing. We did a lot of cooking, and the kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils, and gadgets needed. We have stayed in a lot of houses, almost always we leave with back pain due to poor quality mattresses, not the case here. The beds were super comfortable. We will definitely be back!

There was plenty to do at the house and since the weather was bad we stayed in quite a bit. Lots of games and movies so we never ran out of entertainment! The house is located a very short walk or golf cart ride from beach. Great views of the Gulf, a VERY nice screened in porch and best of all a hot tub on the deck. The house is fully stocked and well maintained. We had a rainy day and enjoyed playing some of the games provided in the living area. The host was very attentive and great to deal with. We had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
