Really liked the team at the hotel, couldn’t do enough to help. Room was very clean and dog friendly so made the weekend to have the dog with us too. Food was fantastic .

The location is great, the food we enjoyed in the evening was superb and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Check was brilliant. The lady had gone out of her way to get a z bed for our grandson. He loved it and was very comfortable. Thank you so much for that. Our room was spacious and very comfortable too.

We felt quite disappointed by service at breakfast on the Sunday morning. We had our dogs and were more than happy to sit at the bar area. However on the Sunday morning we had no table settings, cutlery or plates. I had to ask for them so we could eat the toast. We just felt we were a bit of an inconvenience. I understand it was busy but we had booked for bed and breakfast and it would have been nice to at least have some plates and cups and cutlery. Saturday morning was great. The chap went out of his way to make it nice for us. Breakfast was lovely though.

Very dog friendly. Room was perfect for what we hoped for. As we had our dogs with us, I would be frantic if everything was brand new, especially after a hike that we got caught in the rain well and truly. Shower was perfect, bed comfy, food was lovely, and everyone was so accommodating to our dogs. A very nice lad even brought up some extra black pudding for them after breakfast. It's little things like that, which really mean a lot. Location was also perfect for us, and we will definitely return again later in the year😁

Clean and good value for money

Location is ideal not far to walk to the main shops and market. Comfortable room with a really comfy bed.

We stayed on the first floor, it's was loud till the early hours, but is to be expected as it is a popular pub.

We thought there was a great atmosphere , very helpful staff , enjoyed our stay

No outside seating area but didn't spoil our stay.

Great location. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious. There was parking available in the hotel.

The bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable. The rooms were a bit stuffy with little ventilation.

Amazing for value could not have been better. Staff lovely and food was great, one of the best restaurants in Keswick

One bulb in the over sink light was blown and the tiles above bathroom sink had red wall plugs in them that are totally different colour to the white tiles so were very obvious but was only staying 2 days so wasn’t worth telling reception but stopped me scoring the stay as a 10
