Wir haben Anfang Juli als vierköpfige Familie unseren Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung in London Hunslow verbracht und waren insgesamt zufrieden. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Sie war durch die kurzen Wege zur U-Bahn (Piccadilly Line) gut erreichbar. In der Umgebung gibt es Geschäfte, Restaurants und Supermärkte. Angesichts der Ausstattung und Lage der Wohnung empfanden wir das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis als sehr angemessen.

In den Schlafzimmern und im Bad fehlten Ablagemöglichkeiten für Handtücher und persönliche Gegenstände. Hier könnten zusätzliche Regale oder Haken eine große Hilfe sein. Es könnte ein wenig mehr Geschirr bereitgestellt werden, damit nicht nach jeder Mahlzeit gespült werden muss. Der Eingangsbereich und das Treppenhaus waren etwas schmutzig und wirkten wenig einladend. Hier könnte eine gründlichere Reinigung Abhilfe schaffen.

The apartment itself looks amazing. It's everything you would be looking for, for a stay away from home. A very modern looking property with local amenities, and the train station is within walking distance.

On entering the property, it smelt stale and musty. I located the smell. It was a mop left inside the hallway cupboard, not left to dry out properly. The smell lingered for the duration of my stay, even after placing the mop outside. There were quite a few old stains on the walls and sofa. There were also mould stains on my bedsheets. The walldrobe in the main room was very unstable and should be fixed to the wall. The entrance is to the rear of the property and is basically a dumping ground. This explains why there were so many flies circulating the balcony that was directly above the rubbish. The main door was constantly left wide open. This means anyone could enter the property. It didn't feel safe at times. Plus, the outside area could do with extra lighting as it's literally pitch black at night.

Water was dripping from kitchen tap continuously, balcony door wouldn’t open and there was no fan provided.

I loved the accessibility to local shopping and \groceries. Loved the vibrant neighborhood which was a place where many cultures merged. I felt overly safe and was for the most part felt comfortable walking at nights in the main street. The neighborhood is a bit rundown but is warn and very colorful. There is an Imax Cinema very close to the apartment and as well as many restaurants and eating establishments with food from all over the world. Most everyday essentials can be met at a short walking distance. Whenever I needed to go to the center of London the Ubers, the taxis and the tube station were all good alternatives.

My first impression when I arrived at the parking lot of the building was dreadful. I thought the driver had mistaken the address. I was met by many black trash bags piled on top of each other by the entrance fence of the building, reeking a pestilent smell of rotten food as if they had been there for days. It took me a while to process the discouraging sight; It is also difficult to understand why the sign for the building was not more noticeable. It was bespoke and not very visible. The trash bags were the main focal point. My bags had to be brought up to the upper floor by the stairs, as there was no lift. The room is properly fitted; however, the sofa fabric was stained, and the wall paint was scratched and damaged. Because I did not know the origin of the couch fabric stain, I had to get a blanket and put it over it during my whole stay to be able to sit on it. The bathroom fixtures are all working but need some tweaking and maybe replacement as they are loose and stained. The bed was in an odd position which impeded me from going around it as the footboard was against the wall. The photos on the booking site present a better picture of the apartment than the reality. The images can be very misleading, which is an unacceptable business practice.

The apartment itself was spacious, had all amenities needed, clean (besides some marks which looked old and not something that can cleaned anyway, so not an issue). As an apartment itself, especially for greater London, I would say it was great.

The location itself, the entrance, which was back entrance and hard to find (better directions to get there would have been helpful) and mostly how bad it smelled there, as there were trash scattered all over the place all 5 days I was there... The council and neighbouring shops don't seem to care. Actually, neighbouring shops would come out their backdoors to dump more trash all over.

The apartment had all the comforts and then washing machine and dishwasher. Make sure you check the instructions! DO NOT use the exterior of the building to judge the value for money you will receive in your apartment. It is well located for all restaurants & shopping
