Localization was perfect, short walking distance to the beach and the beach bar. Supermarket and tram/bus station nearby. Very easy, direct public transport (bus number X96) to the airport.

We failed to communicate effectively right from the start. It took 4 emails from me to obtain the key lock box code. Owner email responses included" You will be told nearer the time" " You have been informed already" . It took 3 emails from me to get the number of the apartment. responses from the owner included" You can see it on the pictures", " You should know the number" & "I have told you already". We were due to arrive at 18:00hrs but heavy traffic delayed our arrival until 22:00hrs. It was dark and street lighting was very poor. We walked up and down the street looking for the apartment complex, but gave up and rang the owner for help. An Older woman took the call and gave advise like " go to the door" "we have sent you all the information", "look at the pictures". I felt that she didn't know enough to be helpful to us. We eventually found more than on lock box in he shrubbery . We had to use our phone torch to find the box. We had to go on our hands and knees to access the keys. Once we got to the 4th floor we found there was more than one apartment across from the lift. The elderly woman remained on the phone throughout this ordeal and I thought she seemed a little amused by our predicament. There did seem to be three people involved in the apartment: Mr Spiros, Mrs Bapeaas & Melina.

The photos of this apartment on Booking.com are old, i.e.: the gate has been replaced and the photo was the apartment block next door. This property is not suitable for children, we found 6 appliances on one plug on the floor, next to the TV. The 2 seater sofa had a wooden board under the cushion and the sofa bed was uncomfortable with spring pushing through the fabric. Instructions on how to use some of the appliances were hand written notes sellotape to the item. There was no instruction booklet on how to use the oven, microwave, washing machines and 2 TV's . The hand written note advised us to switch off the air conditioning and hot water as it was expensive to run. One of the balcony's looks down onto a parking yard for maintenance crews. There are a lot of rundown apartments in the complex. Maintenance work on an apartment close to us started at 9am & drilling, hammering and banging continued until 14:00hrs. Fortunately they didn't work at the weekend. The apartment is located on the 4th floor with good lift access. It is within easy walking distance to the public beach, but you will need to cross a 6 lane motor way to get there. There is a mini supermarket, The Poseidon hotel ( good restaurant on the 7th floor) and good coffee shop (Spiaggi) .The property was cleaned to a very high professional standard. Considering our experience :poor communication, old furniture & noise it did not represent good value for money and cannot recommend this as a holiday destination.

place well situated easy to reach by bus from Pireus close to the sea easy to get to the center via Bus or Tram. easy to leave and connect to the airport via X96 bus line.

The sofa is not comfortable to sleep. Coffee machine is missing

It’s really close to the beach. You have tram station that takes you to the centre. There are cheap shops around because you are out of the tourist zone. So it’s pretty much just ideal place, if I would go to Athena again I would definitely go here. Thank you, Michael from Czech Republic

Perfect place to stay. I am sure that I will return. Clean, modern, quiet and stylish. No bad smells. The kitchen was well equipped.
