Unfortunately, this property did not meet our expectations. When we booked the property, “hot tub” was in the title and it is currently listed as an amenity. We were told prior to our arrival that it’s not available for use. One thing you should know before booking is there are multiple units in this building. There are some shared deck spaces with privacy screens. You do not get the entire home - it’s a unit in the building. Top deck is unusable, but looks like they plan to fix it. We arrived and housekeeping had not finished the laundry. There was laundry in the washer, hanging out or the dryer, and on the floor. We were told, “There was a large party before you, housekeeping must have run out of time.” And that we could take the laundry out if we want to use the washer and dryer. The house needs a GOOD deep clean and fresh paint. We’re unsure if all linens were changed or cleaned as there was hair on pillows and body odor on some of the blankets. Improvements need to be made. In our groups opinion, what we paid was not worth the current state. Management is quick to respond though. Thats a plus.

Great property, especially for large groups! Amazing indoor and outdoor areas, especially the multiple decks, second floor gaming area, and hammocks! Property owner was super easy to communicate with, gave lots of great tips for the area and responded quickly to all my questions. 4/5 for cleanliness as there were lots of ants and crumbs on the kitchen floor when we first arrived. Otherwise it was perfect!

Stayed at the property with a group of 8. We were looking forward to stay based on the photos and description. We were very disappointed. The property was not cleaned well (spilled coffee on the floor, shredded cheese under the table). There were spider webs everywhere and had ants all over the kitchen. The fridge barely worked. The TV on the second floor fell off the hinge and almost crashed on the floor. There were no toiletries for the showers and we were left with only 3 garbage bags for the 3 day stay.

Prior to arrival, I made several contact with the host who was generous and considerate with her favorable responses to my requests. However, upon arrival, the place was not ready for my family. There were spider webs in every corner, the floor was not cleaned and ready for us. The spacious kitchen was great. Wished there was drinking water from the fridge. Enough sleeping space and play space for all. Although the event took place at a hall, there was plenty of space for food prep. We forgot baby bottles the in the cabinet. sorry about that. We hope to return on a future visit.

Pros - kids have a blast in lake, kayaks, bunkroom and in the hot tub (when it was working) -owner communication was good and responsive Cons -home is in need of a very deep clean -hot tubs broken and dirty upon arrival -upstairs shower was clogged, even after maintenance came with draino it did not drain well -dryer broken -refrigerator ice/water machine broken - lack of necessities (no garbage bags, no dish soap) Overall our group had a great time because we always have a great time together. The house was not surface clean upon arrival, we spent about an hour sweeping, wiping surfaces, etc. It is located on a VERY busy street and there is a renter attached to the home that is also frequently outside. I know this rental is new to VRBO as the maintenance man mentioned that the owner is still “working through some issues”. If cleanliness and maintenance issues are not an issue for you, then it is a great space for kids to have fun! Hopefully the kinks will be worked out very soon.

We had 11 kids and 4 moms spending our annual long weekend together - we always have a blast! The kids loved the bunk room and the game room. We loved the big kitchen table to seat all of us. Lots of deferred maintenance/cleaning on the property and we were surprised by the proximity to a busy road and the other tenants on the property. Several maintenance issues were handled fairly well as they came up. We rented a pontoon boat from the local marina not realizing it was a loooooong idle zone to get to the property so it wasn’t the convenient lakefront we were expecting, not much space for kids to play outdoors, either. But overall a great time and they did a nice job with the decor in the bedrooms.

The craftsmanship of the space was remarkable. The property needs a deep clean but has so far been updated nicely. Few hiccups with wear and tear of the house.
