Anne was an exceptional host, nothing was too much trouble! Anne, when free even helped us when we wanted to visit the local village for a few beers and a pie! Cleanliness was uber exceptional, the home was outstanding with amazing views. Breakfast was exceptional!

Given the large options for Breakfast, the paperless method of making choices was a little tedious, however the end result was exceptional!

My recent stay at Halekulani Devon Homestay in Torquay was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene garden views that this charming homestay had to offer. The welcoming host Anna made me feel right at home, with commitment to guest comfort was evident throughout my stay. Every area is absolutely spotlessly clean. The availability of free WiFi and private parking was a convenient plus. But what truly stood out was the exceptional breakfast selection and the quality of the food. Whether you prefer a hearty Full English, a nutritious vegetarian option, or a light continental breakfast, they have you covered. The homestay's outdoor fireplace was a cozy spot to unwind in the evenings, and the garden itself was a tranquil oasis. The pool with its scenic view and the sun terrace provided ample relaxation opportunities, while the shared lounge area was perfect for mingling with fellow guests. The location was ideal for exploring Torquay's beautiful beaches, with Maidencombe Beach, Whitesands Beach, and Watcombe Beach all within a short drive. Additionally, the proximity to Exeter International Airport was a convenience for travelers. In summary, Halekulani Devon Homestay exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat with top-notch amenities, welcoming hosts, and proximity to Torquay's natural beauty, this is the place to be. I can't wait to return for another memorable stay.

Had a fantastic one night stay here. The property was beautiful. It was very clean and tidy. The room was very nice - the bed was extremely comfortable. The views we're absolutely stunning. It is very peaceful here. The breakfast was very tasty and we had it in the sea lounge overlooking the sea. This was a beautiful touch. Anne was very tentative and helped us out at every opportunity, offering us a coffee on arrival, phoning the local pub to book us a table, and tending to our every need.

We’ve had an amazing time at Halekulani. The house and our room were very clean and comfortable. The views were amazing. Breakfast was delicious. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Anne was a wonderful host. She did everything to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. We visit Torquay very often but this was our favourite stay and we will be back to Halekulani soon.

The property is spot on. Clean, well maintained. The view is so beautiful, picturesque. And the host Anne is a wonderful person, doing everything to fill comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast was delicious.

The location is of the highest standard. Really pleased with the location and amazing views.

The bath tub in our chosen room was the only downside, I’m sure it wasn’t the same in other rooms. It was practically impossible to stand upright and shower/bath because of lack of headroom space in bathroom.

The small bath and shower you can’t stand up in was a real downer for us. and the lack of communication about this and about the £25 fee for them use of the pool… two important aspects that were left out of the booking.com ad- only a mention of a ‘small fee’ for the use of the pool in a less than obvious place.

Anne was very friendly and helpful. She recommended a great pub to have dinner, and suggested ideas for things to do in the area.

This is a beautiful property with breathtaking views. Ann went out of her way to help us enjoy our stay with valuable recommendations and kindness. Top marks all around. The breakfast was excellent as well.

Anne the owner was lovely and made our stay very pleasant, she couldn't do enough for us and was very helpful. We went away for our honeymoon and she made sure to made the experience as memorable as possible.

This has to be the best place ever to chill . ANNE is an amazing host its her home and you are welcome like family. I will be back gardens are beautiful pool if you want to swim views amazing. Why stay in a hotel this is 5 star.

Everything about our stay at Halekulani was exceptional, the property and views are amazing and the private use of the heated swimming pool is brilliant.Anne the host is the nicest, friendliest and most helpful person you could wish to meet she..goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect.Would definitely recommend to anyone . One of our most memorable holidays ever and will definitely be returning . Arrived as guests and felt like we left as friends.

Lovely place to stay in such a beautiful location. Anne, our host was so nice and helpful and made a great breakfast. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. TV had the main channels and streaming services - perfect for when you have had a long day and just want to rest.

Everything was perfect 🤩! Anne was an amazing host she organized the chocolates banner balloons and a delicious chocolate cake , for my partner birthday and was very beautiful everything she did . We had the most wonderful stay. Amazing views, great food , super comfy bed.
