Great food on site, cool property and great vibes. Only negative feedback was crossing over elevators between properties for gym access and 3 out of 4 treadmills were out of commission Otherwise amazing experience

Special shout out to the fantastic concierge service who were not only friendly but wise and thoughtful in their recommendations. Huge added bonus to our otherwise terrific stay here.

Overall, I found the staff to be quite good and the housekeeping excellent. However, my experience was marred by an encounter with the supervisor when I expressed my disappointment about not being informed that the pool was out of service, despite having communicated with the hotel through Expedia. The supervisor’s response was somewhat passive-aggressive, even though I assured him I wasn’t seeking any compensation. It was an odd interaction. On the positive side, the concierge was extremely helpful, and I generally enjoyed the staff’s friendliness. Nevertheless, if a key feature of the hotel is unavailable, it should be standard practice to notify guests in advance. The supervisor explained that this information was on the website and that since I didn’t book directly, they couldn’t notify me, but I had been in touch through Expedia, so it felt like they were just trying to cover themselves. I would stay again.

Amazing

This was a beautiful property. We felt very safe. They provided prompt and friendly service. The only downfall was the pol was closed during our stay and we were not notified prior to our arrival. We looked forward to the beautiful pool and bar, but sadly we were not able to experience it. However they did provide us with a pass to the Hyatt Regency, but their pool was very underwhelming. It did not have a bar, it seemed like an apartment complex pool.

Great place to stay.

We booked a two bedroom room. When we arrived (one hour after check-in) we were told that our room wouldn't be ready for a few hours. We could wait for one hour and get a room with one bed. Rooftop bar and pool are closed for renovation (isn't this a fairly new hotel??? Why renovating already??) So they were offering to let people go to a Hyatt hotel somewhere nearby for a swim. Guess this was causing delays in checking out. Seems like a huge mess. Received two free massages for it. Room was alright, nothing special. Kind of on the smaller end. A huge pillar one one side that took up extra space. Bathroom was not closed off from the room. Every call to room service took multiple calls and over one hour. Overall, for a brand that is supposed to be a "luxury" hotel, not worth the extra money. Location wasn't bad, fairly central with a quick Uber trip to Roma and 10 minute walk to cafes in Condessa.

The room is very small with very limited spaces and amenities. The rooftop and swimming pool were closed due to maintenance, which is a bummer. It didn’t feel like a luxury hotel at all. More like a boutique hotel without any brand name. Also, didn’t know I can’t earn points because I booked it on Expedia and not through Hyatt’s website directly. This is a terrible experience.

A great stay and a great location!

Without any warning on this booking site- we have come to find out at check-in that the rooftop pool and bar area are closed for renovations until July. We paid a premium to stay at this location, only because of this rooftop pool. When we called prior to our booking (we were told on the phone that the rooftop is open, and then when asked for details told that it was closed). Clear communication needs to improve at this hotel. When showing the hotel staff a 2 for 1 happy hour flyer and asking which bar was running this- the first two staff had no idea what this promotion was, the 3rd staff member confirmed later that it was an in-room dining promotion. No recognition of my gold status at the check-in, upgrades of any sort, or acknowledgement of continued business despite undergoing their Renos. Rooms would only be cleaned by the late afternoon. Shower temperature was impossible to adjust, every handle turn was hot or scalding. We were on a high floor but would still hear the music from the courtyard. It wouldn’t be a deal breaker but I understand where the other comments of too noisy would come from. Great location and nice front desk staff, but there are comparable hotels and due to the above mentioned issues I highly doubt I would ever be back.

We selected this hotel because it had an outdoor pool and we and my daughter would love to end our days at the rooftop pool and restaurants. We were told upon arrival the pool was closed for a month. I had booked the hotel only two weeks before. No pool closure was noted. I checked the hotels.com listing again and it still advertised an outdoor pool. This was a huge disappointment and the reason we chose this pool among other competing hotels. We were offered passes at a non heated cold indoor pool at an aging facilities across town (25 min Uber ride) at the Hyatt—this was a sad consolation. Originally given a room on the first floor the noise from the street including ambulances and car alarms and gates for deliveries was terrible. We also heard music from the restaurant and bar that had been moved from the roof to the area below us through the walls. After complaining about the noise we were told we would be moved on the next day to the 16th floor. We packed up our bags and on our way out for the day confirmed we were being moved. We were then told we were being moved to the second floor. When we said this was completely unacceptable and would not reduce the noise enough. After asking to speak to a manager, on the spot they refound the room on the 16th floor and we were able to move. They then brought us the wrong bags an hour later. And the room was still very very loud I believe the windows are thin - car alarms etc. We will not stay here again.

The property is modern and well maintained. My room was lovely with some nice touches - a gramophone with records for background music. The staff is simply amazing. Everyone from Marcos to all the others go out of their way to serve. And are so friendly. Unlimited bottles of water made things convenient. I loved my stay here and will return with my family.

Amazing hotel, and the service is phenomenal.

Good location, walking distance to a lot of taco spots, parks, coffee shops etc. felt quite safe to be walking around even much later at night . only suggestion would be to have slightly brighter lighting in the room. But overall great hotel, friendly staff , good amenities.

The staff at the Andaz make this property special. The rooms are small, it's more of a boutique hotel afterall, but the staff make you feel like you're home. Actually, they make it feel like the home you always wish you had. The concierge was amazing. Special thank you to Ivan who scored me last minute reservations to the best restaurants in the city. Thank you Ivan it was an honor getting to know you!

Nice clean place to stay. No to far from everything.

I booked a room with city view , instead I got a room with rooftop view and building in front of me. I had to keep the curtains closed all times. The pool was closed for 4 days due to private events . Recaption at check in was not friendly. The hotel definitely is not 5 star. The price is high for what they offer.

Andaz was an amazing place to stay. I would highly recommend it. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped my friends who got sick by bringing them food, drinks, etc. Helped us get around. Always ensured we were comfortable. The bars were beautiful especially the rooftop which has an amazing pool with a view. Would happily stay here again.

Everything was walkable and convenient. We felt safe. Dining options were good and we used the Roof top as well as breakfast

Gorgeous hotel. So many interesting places to hang around at. And loved meeting all the doggie guests

Amazing rooftop bar. Super trendy. Overall great hotel and area. Drinks were a little pricey, though. Also, our room would get very hot in the morning despite AC as the sun baked the windows. And finally, check your bill when leaving; we had a charge from a connected restaurant that we never ate at (they did remove the charge when asked).

Friendly staff

An amazing hotel with beautiful design in a great neighbourhood. The design details are impeccable throughout the hotel. The rooftop pool is small but offers incredible views and is a highlight. The gym is modern and I particularly liked the Peloton treadmills. All the communal areas of the hotel are stunning with thoughtful details but the rooms themselves are a little corporate. They are also quite gloomy and would benefit from more lighting and colour.
