This house is great and the pictures don't do justice to how great it is. We stayed in the top floor of the house which overlooks the sea or beach in all directions. The breeze is lovely and it's very close to a number of beaches, Haleiwa town and the airport only a 30 minute drive. The house comes equipped with many beach chairs, boards, coolers etc. As per a prior comment it doesn't have air-con but doesn't need it either due to the sea breeze and many fans throughout. We loved staying there and were very sorry to leave.

The view from the deck was incredible and it was a great house. Best vacation of my life.

This place was amazing!!!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Definitely our favorite place that we stayed on our whole trip! (We traveled around the island- and stayed at 3 different places so we could get a feel for the whole island. ). The owner was easy to work with, kind, and responded quickly to any questions I had. You will definitely fall in love with Hawaii staying here!!!

This house is on the beach and in between Laniakea Beach (where we saw 4 sea turtles and a monk seal) and Kawailoa Beach. There was a rainbow every day and surfers to the left and right to provide morning and evening entertainment. When I say this is the most perfect place to be on a vacay, I really mean this is the most perfect place to be on vacay!!! Grocery store right down the street, the cutest little town with great food and shopping (Haleiwa, and please try Haleiwa Joes!) and central to pretty much anything on North Shore....it was the greatest place ever. The Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, plenty of seating room for 6 adults, and a view that’s to die for. Very clean too! The owner was extremely accommodating considering that we had to cancel twice because of covid and when I lost my email with the door code all it took was one phone call to get another. Folks. I cannot say enough how much of a gem this house was and how great it made our vacation. I highly recommend unit #B and if I ever get back to Oahu this is where I’ll want to stay

Our Family selected Hawai’i to celebrate a special accomplishment & chose O’ahu as one of the islands to enjoy. The North Shore was one of the areas we wanted to explore & were thrilled to find a perfect beach house in Hale’iwa.
The view from the wall of windows that wrapped around the corner of the main living space was mesmerizing & the sunsets rival any found at famous Sunset Beach. The sound of the waves just beyond the beautifully manicured private lawn was such a magical way to fall asleep, & waking each morning to that gorgeous view was the best Groundhog Day imaginable.
Everything you need to be extremely comfortable is provided & the owners are friendly, responsive, & genuinely want your stay to be one you remember always.
The location was ideal & we loved the charm of the surrounding areas & the people we encountered. We saw from a respectable distance, Hawaiian green sea turtles & monk seals resting on the shore to the left of the beach house each day we were there. To say this will be a cherished memory is an understatement & it saddens us to know both of these beautiful creatures are endangered.
If you want an “experience” & not just a place to stay, you’re fortunate your search led you to this listing. When you enter the property & close the large wooden gate behind you, like us, you will know you’ve discovered the perfect North Shore oasis!

Kelley is a dream to rent from because she is easy to communicate with and quick to respond when needed.
As noted in other reviews, this is an oceanfront beach house so remember to put all food away and cover drains to keep out ants, etc.
Outdoor shower with hot water!!!!! Beach gear! 🐢 On the rocks! Sunsets, oh the sunsets! 🌅
We had two 35-45 yr old couples and one 19 yr old. Plenty of room for all. We loved waking up early to surf or hike and then would drop by sunrise shack for yummy acai bowls or go to famous Hale-iwa for there delicious food trucks before adventuring.
Secure large parking area and you get to stay on a famous road! Take a pic with tiki elvis!

The parking was much bigger than expected, which was perfect because we had 3 cars. When you first walked into the place, it was a real "WOW" factor. We all headed to the lanai and couldn't believe that we had scored such a beautiful place. Right on the water! Windows everywhere, so even when you were inside, you felt like you were outside. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night. Breathtaking. It was private, quiet and a place you never want to leave. The place was much bigger than it appears in its pictures. We will most definitely stay there again. Thank you, Kelley!

Just what we needed after a stressful year of Covid. We started every morning with coffee on the deck and surf “TV”- watching folks surfing Chun’s reef. The water was too hazardous to swim out front while we were there, but we found other calmer beaches close by to swim and snorkel. We loved sleeping to the sound of the waves, checking out the food trucks and shave ice in super cute Haleiwa town, watching surfers at Bonzai pipeline, taking surf lessons and doing some beautiful hikes! We came home refreshed and filled with joy and the aloha spirit. Thanks so much for everything!

Location of the house is amazing - exactly like the photo! One note, you cannot get to the beach from the yard, you have to walk along the road a few steps - very easy and safe just a good "to know". House is decorated with Hawaiian style furniture. Beds are all comfortable and there is everything you need in the kitchen. The house is worth the view alone!

Absolutely perfect north shore getaway for our family. Property was as described and location was perfect. Owners easy to contact and communicate with prior and during our stay. Property was just off a busy road, but the soothing sounds of the ocean were all that we heard. Plenty of room and layout of Unit B was perfect for the 5 of us. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this home so much, it’s in close proximity to all the north shore activities. Private beach was amazing! Great to have a washer/dryer and outdoor shower!

We loved this house! Our favorite spot was the deck. We enjoyed watching the waves and surfers. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 (2 adult kids, 1 teen). The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of parking. Having access to a washer and dryer on vacation is so nice. Mahalo for sharing your home with us!

This house was not our first choice as we had planned to fly to Kauai for a week there. However, that island closed due to the pandemic so we made plans to rent a house on Oahu. The view is spectacular! We so enjoyed our time here. Beautiful and relaxing!
4.8
We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is right on the water, and leaving the doors and windows open was wonderfully soothing when sleeping. We had some issues with the neighbors, but the owner was extremely responsive and addressed our concerns quickly and even provided us with the number for the owner of the property next door in case there were still issues with those renters.

Beautiful location, surfers paradise, not a swimming beach when the swell is up, but you're in paradise!...so not faraway! This listing is very accurate and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Comfortable beds and bath towels!Floors and doors could have used a thorough dusting, but very clean otherwise. Wonderful to find a full set ofchina, flat and cookware to use, as well as decent cutlery! Great spot to enjoy the stunning Pacific, flora, fauna, and tropical healing climate! Mahalo and Aloha!!

We could not have picked a better location for our family getaway. The natural beauty and proximity to beaches and Haleiwa shops gave us everything the North Shore has to offer all within arms reach. We got to make every second count. We were so sad to leave, and can't wait for our next visit.

My family and I had a wonderful five day stay here March - April 2018.
We loved the location of the house. My family are surfers so it was just a short walk to Chuns reef and out front too. We surfed every day and went into Haleiwa for dinner a couple of times. We did have some meals at the house like breakfast and sometimes lunch which was great. Loved sitting on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The kitchen was well appointed and I only needed to pick up a few things at Foodland. It was also great seeing the turtles everyday on the small rocky beach to the left of the house. You have to climb on the rocks to get down to see them.
I cant wait to go back!

My family of four (with two teenagers) stayed at the end of March 2018. We rented the top floor and the views were amazing. The beds and sheets were great - I tried to figure out what kind of sheets were on the "master bed" but was unsuccessful. Beds were comfy too. The house is not the most updated, but fit our needs just fine. The couch was pretty uncomfortable, so don't plan on someone sleeping on it. Lots of people had left beach toys - we used some one day, but the people below us grabbed the most useful stuff before we could the next couple of days. No worries, though - still great. Most importantly: we explored the rock beach directly outside the house and to the north and one day in the north small cove area, found 8 turtles sunning themselves! Two young ones! No surprise because Turtle beach is just around the corner. It was an incredible experience. Don't worry: we stayed plenty of feet away from them, but it was amazing to just sit with them. Had a great time and loved being away from the city. Check out the town of Haliewa - cute beach town with local restaurants!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location, right on the beach, gorgeous views and just a short drive in to Haleiwa and the other way to the iconic surf spots Waimea Bay, Pipeline etc. The area was quite busy when we stayed, a lot of traffic because of the surf comps but you wouldn't know when you're in the house. There were people downstairs too but we didn't hear them either. The house is spacious and well-equipped, I would love to visit again if I get the chance and would recommend to friends in an instant.

This listing does not even begin to do this location justice. View from the lanai is just stunning. One of the best parts of each day is sipping coffee and watching the sun rise and then watching the sun set with a cold glass of wine. Just to the right of the house is Chun's Reef, a surfing hot spot. You can watch surfers and paddle boarders from dawn to dusk.
As several reviewers have said, this is a turtle mecca! Climb down the rocks behind the house and walk to the left and you will find a small cove just crawling with sea turtles (for those who don't know - Hawaii has very strict laws regarding their turtles - you must remain 6+ feet away from them. Be respectful of these giant beautiful creatures!)
Chun's Reef is an excellent swimming beach, just a 2 houses away. You can see the pristine sandy beach in the pictures.
Met several of the neighbors during our week here and they were all really nice.
Now for the house. Super clean. Our upstairs neighbors left a few days before we did and we saw the housekeeper carrying a load of bedspreads downstairs to the laundry for cleaning. The biggest "ick" factor for most travelers are the bedspreads, but it appears this place actually washes them along with the sheets between each tenant. Big PLUS. Master bedroom gets tons of air circulation and the smaller rooms are pretty breezy. Portable fans are provided for those needing extra breeze. 2 charcoal grills are provided (burgers and hot dogs just taste so much better when grilled in Hawaii while looking at the ocean) and kitchen is well stocked.
Now for the sites. Waimea Falls Park is close by - beautiful flora and fauna and swimming is allowed at the waterfall, providing conditions are safe for swimming - call ahead to make sure. It's a little humid in the valley so the addition of the golf cart a few years ago is a huge plus. They also have a farmer's market on Thurs afternoon. Veggies, fruits, jellies, soaps, etc. Bring cash as all vendors do not accept cards. Shark's Cove has excellent snorkeling with lots and lots of fish. Invest in an underwater digital camera and a pair of reef walkers. Great places for snorkling: Laniakea Beach (just a few houses from here), Sharks Cove and Turtle Bay Beach. Giovanni's shrimp truck in Kahuku - BEST DARN GARLIC SHRIMP EVER!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! It was the prefect vacation for our family. There was 16 of us. It was the prefect setting for our family, enough room, the beach at the backyard, turtles down the beach, close to everything and anything we wanted to do. Thank you so much for a memorable time!

We returned here in July, after staying in January 2009 (both times in the downstairs unit). While, of course, in the summer it's not possible to watch big waves and extraordinary surfing from the window, porch or backyard, the views are still wonderful, the sunsets still incredible, and the house still comfortable. The North Shore in the summer is just as great as in the winter. I look forward to going back.

We took our four children, 2 children in-law and 2 grandchildren over Spring Break. Kept the windows open the entire time. I can't get enough of the sound of the surf. There were turtles on the beach, whales playing in the distance and surfers almost 24/7. The property is the quintessential beach home. We noticed while on a beach walk that it is one of the few homes in the area with grass on the beach side. The 1-yr old and 3-yr old loved that. There is a gate to the property so parents only have to keep an eye on the ocean side for wandering children. We rented bikes and rode in to Haleiwa for the farmers market, beach park and lunch. We visited the Polynesian Cultural Center on our last day and found out that the ticket we had purchased allowed for multiple visits within a 2 week period. Our mistake for not paying closer attention, we would have liked to gone back. The babies loved the Dole Plantation and we all enjoyed our "Dole Whip". Our son rented a surf board in Haleiwa each day that we didn't do the "tourist" thing. It was very convenient. Of course Pearl Harbor was a requirement. We rotated with our kids in cooking meals and that worked out beautifully for everyone. If you did nothing but sit in the back yard and watched the show that nature and a group of devoted surfers put on for you it would be well worth the week. My husband got 2 books read in that back yard. It was cloudy in the evening the first few days we were there, but when we saw that first sunset it took our breaths away. We did go into Honolulu and did the drive by at Waikiki and the entire family was thrilled that we were not caught up in that "mess" and had our very own house and only had to share the beach with a few locals. If there is a downside the traffic on Kamehameha got pretty backed up on the weekends with all the turtle and surfer watchers. Since my husband and I are both from beach communities originally we knew this was to be expected.
