The pool was supposed to be heated. It was repaired and became heated on Wednesday of the week. We lost 3-1/2 days. My children and grandchildren were extremely disappointed as was I. In addition to the pool, the man that repaired the pool, stood on the side of the house and PEED. My grandson was extremely upset. The owner said that it was no big deal. The owner reimbursed me $250, which I considered an insult. Needless to say, I will not EVER consider this site again. I was extremely disappointed. I expected at least half of the money I paid for the 3-1/2 days of pool time we lost. So far the owner has paid back $150

We had a fantastic stay at Anna Maria Island. All was as described - the beds were super comfortable. The TV’s and remotes were all messed up..but the owner was responsive after we did what we could to correct the situation - batteries, match up remotes, etc. he even brought a new TV so we could stream on that and TV on the other main TV. The one bummer was the construction next door made it not that pleasant to hang by the pool - but not really anything that can be anticipated or controlled. I also let Mark know that the second fridge had been unplugged and not usable or clean. Lots of room to put clothes and hang things up was a plus also. There were many things we could walk to and my friends and I enjoyed that! Rod and Reel had good food!

House was spacious, plenty of room for larger families! Beds was comfy! House was clean, owner very nice to work with! House super close to beach and so many other cute shops and restaurants! We really enjoyed our stay here! Looking forward to coming back!

Property was in a perfect location to walk to the rod and reel pier and sunsets every night on bean point. Couple issues with the pool, and I only mention this because the owner took care of the issue while we were at breakfast so it did not affect our time. Overall we would rent again.

Though a few of the previous reviews gave me a bit of hesitation, there was no need to worry. This is a lovely house with everything we needed including a fantastic pool, two separate family hang-out spaces, close beach access, and close proximity to the Bay Blvd/Pine Ave shops and restaurants…you could even walk to them if you don’t mind a few-minute walk. Mark was a great host and communication with him was a breeze. We loved our stay and hated to leave. Planning to return the next time we head to AMI.

Fantastic beach house in a great location. We spent the days at the beach and would come back for a relaxing grill out poolside! I would book again.

Flew in on a Tuesday and stayed for 8 days! Love the flexability on the booking schedule. When we arrived the house was clean and equiped with basic needs to start out the week! Beach and pool toys were provided! A.c worked great, beds were comfy, pool temp great, hot tub worked great as well! Overall an amaxing trip with a short walk to the beautiful beach! Highly reccomend and will be staying again!

The property was not what we expected from the description online. The owner was difficult to deal with. I’ve used VRBO for family vacations in Anna Maria for over ten years and have never experienced anything like this. I am extremely disappointed.

Convenient roomy home for our family

We are north island lovers, and this place checked all of those boxes. 2 minute walk to bean point, 1 minute walk to rod and reel pier. This isn’t a flashy place, it’s a place to relax and enjoy the old charm of Florida the pool and hot tub were wonderful, and the 2 minor issues we had were met with quick responses.

We loved the house, and the location. The pool was perfect, and the house was clean and adorable. Will definitely rent again!

Great location on the Northern tip of the island. Close to beaches and rod & reel pier. It a great pier for fishing, or coffee while watching the water/sun. The house has 2 large open family rooms that make it easy to spread out. The beds were comfy. There are 4 bedrooms. No stairs if you have someone who has a hard time navigating stairs. Great pool with lots of pool toys, with some needing to be discarded. :) We are already booking for the Spring!

We just spent 11 days in this sweet little beach house and loved it! It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay! Fully furnished kitchen with a brand new refrigerator and pots and pans (we love to cook), comfy beds and pillows, plenty of room, and amazing private pool and back yard, and the owner was very responsive and accommodating! There was another couple with us so having 2 living areas (both with plenty of comfy seating) was really nice to have our own space when needed. It is literally less than a block from the beach so we spent early parts of the day there and when we were “all beached out” we relaxed in pool for a cool down before dinner! The hot tub was also great in the cooler evenings to just chill in and have a few cocktails after dinner! Is it a 5 star resort with all the amenities?… No, so don’t expect that… but is a sweetheart of a “beach house” and for the location and price is probably one of the best vacations we have had! Can’t wait to return next year!

Not sure where to begin. When we first arrived before we got settled in we all thought, this is cute! As we settled there were a lot of things that were not ok and for as costly as the house was for a week we were very disappointed. In one of the bedrooms there seemed to be some remnants of animal hair on the sheets. There were 2 of the 3 lightbulbs out in the one bathroom. The air filter in the hallway was absolutely disgusting. Caked with dust and dirt. The fire alarms would go off at any given moment. (At which the owner said, can’t you just remove the batteries?) The ceiling fan had no remote so therefore we couldn’t get that to turn on. In the front bedroom there were 2 huge rocks/bricks holding up the bed frame. One of the pullout drawers in the refrigerator was cracked and broken. The one bedroom door made such a loud squeaking noise that you literally could wake the dead from opening and closing it. The kitchen items such as frying pans were so old they needed to be thrown away probably 5 years ago. All of the glasses and some silverware needed to be washed again. And for a house that sleeps that many people needed to have more cooking items. The back door could be broken into by just jiggling the door. Also, someone could stand to go through all of the beach items that have been left there. They were all in very bad shape. The location was nice. This is no fault of the owners whatsoever but it is not a great location if you are wanting to swim or be at the water because the gulf meets the bay and the rip currents could be bad. So we would drive a few blocks to another beach access so we could hang at the beach. It’s a great location to walk and watch the sunset or walk to the Rod and Reel Pier. Peace, Carrie

We spent an extended Labor Day weekend at Anna Maria island. It was outstanding. The property was clean, had an outstanding pool, and was within walking distance to Bean Point and the Bay! I will stay here again for sure. They even allowed me to Bring my dog! Some minor upgrades are needed, but we didn’t mind. We were there for the pool and the beach, which were AMAZING!!! Stay here.

We throughly enjoyed staying at this property. It was probably the cleanest home we have stayed in. The location was just a block away from a gorgeous beach where we enjoyed seeing manatees and dolphins. After spending time at the beach, we were able to relax in the pool, cook on the grill, and relax in one of the two living spaces. We would definitely stay here again.

Our trip was very enjoyable. The beach house location was ideal, a short walk to the beach and to the bay. The property was large enough to accommodate my family of 7. The pool was very nice. We all had a great time. There were a few things that I thought the owners should be aware of: We needed to do a bit of cleaning when we first arrived, especially in the 2nd bedroom (near the front entrance). There was a musty, dirty socks odor by the night stand. Some of the TVs were neither Smart nor cable. The door to the 2nd bedroom would not shut. The rug at front door needed a good vacuum, but the vacuum at the house didn't work. In the kitchen, there were dirty dishes in the cabinets; not enough utensils (forks/spoons) for a family of 7; and the frig had broken shelves on the door that were not usable. Again, overall our trip was a success, just wanted the owners to be mindful of the issues that we had.

All good. No problem. Would stay again.

We loved the property! It was perfect for our family. We would rent this property again. They had everything you would never need- Cupcake pans, box fans, etc! Don't hesitate to book this property.

When we first walked in we were thrilled to see the spacious living areas and the super cute decor!! BUT the house never felt clean, particularly the showers (looked to be mold in the shower handles and on the windows), bathrooms (grimy cabinets), and bedding (stained comforters). Wood was missing and chipping off of the bathroom doors, which is probably due to the humidity in the bathrooms (no vent fans). One of the bedroom doors didn’t close and many of the screens were ripped so we couldn’t open the windows for fresh air. Nice fridge with ice maker, nice countertops and big sink! Many of the dishes were dirty in the cabinets when we arrived, so we had to wash them before using. However, the dishwasher itself didn’t work very well and the prongs inside of the dishwasher were wacky making it difficult to load/unload. Nice washer and dryer, but you have to go outside to get to them. They are located in a garage-type room off of the patio. The pool area is great! Nice beach cart and beach toys for the kids. There were several beach chairs BUT only one of them worked. The rest were broken and rusted out. Not sure why the owners wouldn’t evaluate every so often and throw away needed as they are stacked up and almost block the entrance of the laundry room. We didn’t want to dispose of them ourselves incase we’d be fined for not missing property and we weren’t sure if the trash service would take them since all of them wouldn’t fit in the bins. This is a cutely decorated, spacious home, with a nice pool. I just think potential renters should be aware of the undesirable conditions and that that the quality of the home itself isn’t “nice” before booking. It may not bother some people, but we wouldn’t return for these reasons.
