We holiday to Greece every year and so were thankful for the chance to go despite the global pandemic. We have never had a Villa before, not booked an accommodation via Homeaway. So this was vet much a break from the norm. But a desire to lessen the contact with others by having our own place and the affordability of Villa Filia made perfect sense. The property itself was perfect for us in that respect. Accommodation was relatively basic, but the Greek norm. We had everything we needed. Air con was excellent, pool was fabulous. Location was rather isolated and we were glad to have the car as you could not have functioned without it. Local supermarket had shut so you had to drive to Achravi which was only 5 mins, but way more than a walk each day to the bakery. A couple of local tavernas kept you going in the evening and were all within 10 min walk. The beach was 2 min walk away and incredibly quiet. On the negative side, one must mention the wifi which was poor. It did mean the boys were sociable, but made planning excursions difficult. We had no wifi for the last two days despite contacating our host. The accommodation is relatively isolated amidst Greek farmers and as a consequence there were three Cockerals that might as well been in the grounds of the Villa and were a constant annoyance both night and day. The grass area around the pool was spacious and lovely, unfortunately one needs to be wary of the wasps that are hidden amongst it. Both my boys fell victim. Finally, the mosquitos!! They were probably the worst we have encountered in Greece. Some out of season storms at the start of our holiday probably contributed, but they were present en mass were the car was parked.

la zone d'almyros beach est probablement une des plus belles de l'ile. tres peu frequentee par la masse touristique elle est situee a 15 minutes de villes et plages plus importantes comme kassiope et sidari. le point culminant et des villages de montagne a proximite valent le detour nombreux commerce aux alentours plage a 200m facile d'acces et tres peu frequentee mais enamoins avec tous les services utiles (snack resto, parasol).. a 200 m a pied plusieurs etablissement propose des pisicines luxueues et gratuites et repas.. ideal pour nos fins de soirees avec nos 3 enfants..

We rented four of the five maisonettes (one with a pool) for a family reunion and it worked perfectly. The houses are within walking distance to the beach and various tavernas, and just a short drive to Acharavi and shops. A glorious setting and Stamatis is a gracious host.

A perfect place to stay with children. Great location, very close to a sandy beach. The pool was priceless as the boys spent all their time swimming. Wonderful host, Stamatis was on hand to help with all of our needs. We will be back :)

Very nice and comfortable little maisonnettes. The pool is perfect, the beach is a 4 minute walk away, and the terraces offer great views. Perfect vacation rental!

The houses were lovely and very well equipped. We all really enjoyed the two pools that were cleaned regularly by a very kind staff. The beach was very enjoyable and easily accessible as it was close by. The place was family friendly, quiet and calm but still close enough to the nearest town. We would definitely recommend these lovely and cosy maisonettes to everyone. It was a incredibly enjoyable stay.
