This property is only a few blocks from downtown so it was nice to be able to walk to shopping and restaurants. The AC was nice but the bathroom did not have a fan or window and the shower was too short because of the slope of the roof.

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO, it was a clean, very cool historic building and lot bigger than I was expecting. Great location, loved touring the cathedral and highly recommend the Helena tour trolley that runs right past the house.

This was our second time staying at this property and we had an unfortunate experience during this visit.
It’s obvious that a tenant living below this rental is a cigarette smoker and the smell came up thru the vents into our place. Our daughter has allergies and had to take meds because of it. Initially the manager was helpful and got the person to smoke outside, but very late that night ( when it was too late to seek other accommodation) the smoke came back with a vengeance. The next day when I reached out I was ghost lighted and texts not returned.i felt strongly we were due a refund because of the noxious odor.
We found a tray with various room deodorizers and essential oils so they are very aware of this issue but choose not to let potential renters know.
You have been warned.

Super cute place with comfortable beds. The home does smell like cigarette smoke and I'm not sure there's anything that can be done about it. From what we can tell it seems that maybe the house below has a smoker. The front door locks were broken and the owner said she would take care of the issue. I hate to leave a negative review but the cigarette smell is an issue that should be resolved. Maybe an ozone treatment. This isn't an old home smell it is most certainly cigarette.

Apartment smelled of cigarettes! Host acknowledged in a brief conversation that she knew about it but the listing had no caution about it. It was worse the 2nd day.
There was no wifi for 24 hrs. because we had been given the wrong password! When I told the host the reply was to give the same password and tell us it was written on the fridge. Finally 24 hrs. later she sent us the correct password!

It was great loved being able to walk to downtown area very convenient. Loved walking and running around there.

This apartment is very clean and charming located in a good neighborhood. The only thing we found wrong was that we had made reservations for four adults and three children. When we arrived, we only had four bath towels and no extra bedding to make up the couch for the children.

We loved the location and all the furnishings were great. The stairs turned into a challenge as we had lots of stuff required for babies & children and skis and snowboard. We were well aware of the stairs before we rented so will choose ground floor next time.

Loved that we could go to Mass by foot. Such a comfortable place too. That massive sofa is fantastic.

This VRBO was perfect for our trip to Helena. The porches and cool decor of this historic apartment added to our vacation vibe. Teens loved the air hockey. Close to downtown and walking mall, so we got to see the best of the city by foot. We recommend staying here.

We had an amazing stay at this property. Easy and fast communication with the owner, who was so flexible with our plans as well. Location is perfect, just across the street from the cathedral and a short walk to downtown. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked and the place is roomy!

My husband and I planned a night away with friends. He found this second floor apartment, close to the cathedral, and it was absolutely perfect! The apartment itself was plenty big enough for the four of us with a comfortable living room we all hung out in. Everything was clean and well organized. The property owner responded to the request and all emails very promptly. In addition, the location could not be beat! Easy walking distance to downtown.
We will definitely look into staying here again when traveling to Helena. And will pass the information about this property on to friends.

One of the best VRBO experiences I've ever had! Travel for work a lot. This was clean, spacious and so comfy. The beds were great, living area was exceptions. The back deck and seating are were a dream. Host was great at communicating, and even extended our stay very short notice. 10/10 would recommend. Will stay again.

This upstairs apartment was decorated in such a cute way and was central to downtown (next door to the Cathedral!). We enjoyed our stay and the easy communication with the owner very much! Would definitely recommend to those looking to enjoy a couple of days in Helena.

This sweet little apt is on the second floor with exterior stairway.
It’s conveniently located ~ so park your car and walk to the restaurants and farmers market.

close to town. Last chance gulch was great. Dining underwhelming. Nothing from hostess in room for helpful hints and local insights. AC left 2nd bedroom too warm., rest of place was ok. Outdoor patio was a great plus.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet. The back patio is an oasis and we enjoyed the short walk to coffee shops and downtown businesses. We would definitely stay here again.
