The property is lovely well equipped and really worked for us with the location. The parking was also great.

Nothing massively but it is run as a business so like mentioned in other reviews there are add ons to the base price. For example we took dogs , this was an additional price which we have never encountered before (we come down to Brighton regularly to see our daughter so have used several properties now) we asked about a cot as our granddaughter was coming, again in the original search but a cot was an additional cost. And the refundable damage waiver is quite a lot in comparison to the non refundable one. So it's just being aware of reading all of this before you commit.

Das Haus ist sehr modern und nachhaltig gebaut worden. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und komplett. Von Waschmaschine und Trockner bis zum Föhn und Wäscheständer war alles vorhanden. Zwischen unseren Erkundungstouren rund um Brighton konnten wir uns somit immer wieder in diesem sehr gemütlichen Häuschen erholen. Für Familien sehr zu empfehlen. Die Haltestelle für die Busse nach Brighton sind in einer Minute zu Fuß erreichbar. In ca. 10 Minuten kann man an die Küste spazieren.

Die Betten sind für größere Menschen recht schmal. Der sehr freundliche Handwerker kam unangemeldet und musste einen halben Tag die Heizung reparieren. Die hochwertigen Backofen waren nicht gereinigt und das Geschirr war nicht wirklich sauber. Es war keine Teekanne vorhanden.

Well equipped apartment in a quiet and safe complex

A really well maintained and comfortable house! Everything was in great shape and very clean. Our family of 4 had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. We in fact tried to extend our stay but the place was already booked. Added bonus is that it’s a carbon-neutral (or even negative) home, generating some solar power. Also very close to a coffee shop (right across street) and a nice coop grocery store (3 min walk). Lots of nice restaurants nearby too (some of the best pizza I’ve had at Vespa).

The kitchen could use some more utensils, it was a bit spare. For example, there were no plastic or wooden spatulas for using on the non-stick pan. There was no coffee maker that we could find. There were lots of plates, mugs, glasses, etc, but a bit harder to cook. Just adding a few more things to the kitchen would make this place perfect.

The location to get in to Hove & Brighton was great ,had lots of local shops cafe's and takeaways. The house was great easy to get our wheelchair in and out for access. The house was very well presented with all mod cons for a family away from home. Tea , Coffee, Sugar. salt , pepper. The house was very clean and tidy. The Kitchen had all the utensils, plates , bowls cups, knife's forks ect. washing up liquid, hand soup. The utility room had a washing machine, Ironing board, dust pan & brush , Hoover all on hand if needed. You had a Smart TV , WiFi EV Charger for the car if required. The bed rooms all had well stocked bed linen, towels and a hair dryer for your stay. The Getaway support team out of hours was brilliant they awnsered queries about the use of new type moden kitchen appliances all very helpful amidiate response by sms.

Nothing to say or add as all was good with the house and the customer services team. maybe one thing the free parking was great but I found it difficult to swing my large estate car in and out of the parking bay very tight space you need to take your time and have your eye on all the mirrors and parking sensors or you could end up scratching your car and damaging the house and walls.
