Value for money location great complex good location and let me check out late. Massive swimming pool

It wasnt very clean had to go over everything ourselves bedsheets too small

The terrace and the view.

The coach, blankets and towels were not clean. The TV in the livingroom was broken and was not repaired nor replaced till end of our stay. This makes the stay unconfortable. The location and staff were OK. It would be best the apartment to have washing machine.

I have stayed at the hotel before and knew the barcelo royal beach was a great location, central, nice pool etc. However the menada apartments were not to the same standard as other apartments or the hotel room. Menada had a nice kitchenette and flat screen TV, a pool view, the storage is good, large wardrobes with hanging space and drawers. This was the only positive things about the apartment.

The apartment smelt of damp, there was a leaking pipe within the bathroom which constantly dripped (I reported this on arrival was told someone would fix but they never came) the bathroom floor was always wet. the shower was very basic and tired looking, really needs updating. The room generally needed a good clean. The bed was awful, made up of two single beds placed together to look like a king size, the mattress was all Stained with blood and urine looking stains, reallu discusting. the bed frame had plastic and nails sticking out from it, the bedded was practically non existent, we had 3 dirty looking sheets and the pillows were also stained and dirty. We had no adequate bedding so it made bedtime really uncomfortable, I think prison cells have more comfort than this. There was an iron in the room with was broken and faulty cable so could not be used. many of the light bulbs had blown so lighting was dim. We were there for 12 nights were told we would have apartment cleaned after 5 days, this was NOT done either, all they did was left 2 small towels on the bed and left, we were not supplied with even the basics such as toilet roll or kitchen towel to clean up, so had to buy that at the supermarket. The overall stay was disappointing the lack of towels, bedding and having a no maid service really didn't seem worth the small saving as we had to spend money on cleaning products etc ourselves so in future I would book to stay in the hotel room or sand apart apartments not menada.
