Very helpful owner and staff for my last minute booking, which I appreciated immensely. Lodging is clean, spacious, basic, and an excellent location 3 minutes walk to the beautiful beach. Room was very large and had a refrigerator which was very nice. Air conditioner worked well. Filtered water dispenser in the small kitchen common area. Many restaurants, bars, and shopping in the vicinity of the property. I was able to store my backpack for a while since I had a tour the day I checked out. Overall excellent value stay.
Room and furnishings just a bit tired perhaps, though clean.

Places like this make it possible for me to visit incredible places on a small budget. I am so grateful for mother Fanny who was kind, welcoming and could have charge more than I paid. I had my own room with a bathroom, hot water, fridge, TV and air con, it was a welcome break from dormitories. There was free water, and a kitchen which helped me to keep costs down. The place was super clean, perfectly located and I couldn't of asked for more. An affordable and quick laundry service. Isabela Island is a very special place, full of beauty and incredible animals and kind locals. I didn't need to pay for a tour to enjoy swimming with sealions, turtles, rays, sharks and penguins. I will definitely be back to stay here again. Thank you Mother Fanny.

We were so happy to find aircon in our room! Comfortable bed and free water. Great with early check-in and they let us leave the bags after check-out until our ferry left in the afternoon

Perfect!! And mother funny is super kind grandma. If you find the room you are lucky, take it!! 😊👍 Unfortunately I booked just one night and I couldn’t extend she was already fully booked!

Just Keep in mind that she is not always there. There is a telephone number that you can contact, unfortunately I run out my phone credit and I didn’t know how to ask her for keep my backpack next morning where I had to join a tour very early.

Loved that there really was a Mother Fanny there to welcome you! She is super lovely! Foe the price, I was expecting a bed in a shared dorm but I had a room to myself each night. The cleaning staff moved my bag to the new room (after confirming that that would be more convenient for me) and even moved an item from one fridge to the other! Each room had a clean bathroom with spacious shower, beds, embroidered towels, A/C, and small TV. The location was fantastic, just a few buildings down from the agency I had booked with from the other island. Highly recommended!

The room was a good size and was very comfortable, with air conditioning, a hot shower and a mini-fridge. The kitchen is simple but functional and had everything we needed for a few nights. The accommodation is in a great, central location, with all the facilities you need on your doorstep. Fanny is absolutely lovely and extremely accommodating to her guests’ needs.

One of the best stays during my time in the Galapagos. Fanny is an exceptional host and super sweet and helpful even though my Spanish was horrible. The room was large and had an A/C and I could even hang my clothes out in front of the room and because the sun shines on them most of the day they were dry in no time. The location is absolutely excellent, right on the main road of the sleepy Puerto Villamil with travel agencies (I recommend Pahoehoe) and a lavanderia and mini-market right across the street and just 3 minutes walking to the beach.

What is not to like? Room and bath sizes are great with powerful AC to keep you cool. The central location, refrigerator in the room, cold drinking water in the kitchen (free of cost), the kitchen, and a clothesline are added bonuses. We were very pleased that the hotel folks turned up the temperature of the hotwater per our request. Above all, Mother Fanny"s smile is always welcoming. We had the best stay at this hotel.
The kitchen, where we were asked to leave our luggage while we took a tour, did not appear safe to us. I suggest the establishment provide a locked area for this purpose.

Very comfortable, close to the ferry terminal, close to restaurants. The owner is a very sweet lady, smiley and very hospitable. It's basic, there is free water that u can refill from the water filter. There is a small kitchen if you want to cook anything. Enough for a night's stay.

Would have been nice if the host had given some info about the island or ask at least if i might need some, and be generally a little more present. Saw them quickly on check in and never again. A phone number is provided, but the intenet on Isabella is not the best so you cant always use it or depend on it.

One of the best places we stayed in the Galapagos islands. The room is very spacious, as well is the bathroom. You even have a little fridge in the room. Mother Fanny is a really sweet and kind host.

The hostel is in a very good location, 2 min from the beach. The beds are comfy, the room has a bathroom.
Mother Fanny was so nice that never put the additional person in my room, so I was alone. She is a star!

Good value for money, cheap and spacious room. hottest shower in Ecuador, which is excellent when returning from a water trip. easy location to the beach and restaurants, supermarkets, travel agencies (it’s hard to have a bad location in a small town like this!) fridge in the room is great, along with AC. basic kitchen available. free drinking water. easy check in/ check out- free late check out.

No book exchange shelves (this is an easy set up for a hostel and would be purposeful especially as there is no book shop on this island. Mother Fanny had 2 old English books, but we encourage her to set this up for her travelers. I left a book called ‘The Giver Of Stars’ by Jojo Moyes, ask Mother Fanny for it if you are there over the next days as it’s a great read).

The owner is very nice and welcoming!! Its close to everyrhing and the room was big. Also in my roon was a fridge so i could keep only my own stuff cold socit was nice i reccommend
