It is a Family hotel with a great and interesting history

Very big and nice place.
Breakfast was good for us.
At the beginning they said need to charge extra for our child but at the end they were very kind and all was settle without extra payment.
At the beginning TV did not work but immediately they change the TV and it was fine.

It's the best place to stay in this area (Zeda Gordi - Martvili) and my stay here was fantastic, I even changed my plan and stayed on one more day)
1. Modern with nice design room, where I can find all fasciitis (air conditioner, tv, kettle, fridge). I even had a bath in bathroom!
2. Increadible view from my room on hills, I can lay on the bed and see how clouds go through the hills) it's better that any TV)
3. Chateau has the best location, because it is in very peaceful place with own area, but at the same time very close to the canyon and path to waterfalls.
4. Chateau it self had an interesting long history and the owner can tell you and show grapes plantation, qvevri, different equipments for wine producing.
5. Staff was very friendly and I want to thank so much the owner, who takes me on a tour of chateau and give me to taste handmade wine and cognac! The quality of this product very high, l regret that can't take some bottles with me)
6. Also there is billard, lounge zone, sheeps and pond with trout and swimming pool, so you can find many activities even in the chateau area)
I wish the owner that all his plans become a real!!
If I will be in this district again I totally stay in this place one more time!!

The property is huge, and has amazing veiw, the owner is very helpful, and the food they cooked for us was amazing....
And gave a local coneac and wine to taste....
As it was a off season, there was no rush and the WiFi was going on and off...

The Chateau Chikovani is a good answer to the question, why visit Georgia? A perfect base for visiting the Okatse Canyon and Waterfall (the former in walking distance and the latter is walkable but about an 11 mile round trip). The Duke was very happy to show us around the chateau before we had dinner. The food was excellent, not expensive and there was a very good selection at both breakfast and dinner. We had initially only booked one night here, but ended up staying another and when our flight was cancelled, they offered us help and let us finish breakfast even after breakfast was supposed to have finished whilst we sorted things out. The room itself was modern, clean and had a lovely view out over the hills and the garden. I wholeheartedly recommend the Chateau Chikovani.

Clean and nice room, dinner prepared on request, simple, fresh and tasty. With the very special wine of the chateau, it is a blessing really.

Huge yard, surrounded by the mountains. There is a trout pool in the yard.
It feels like the property has everything, but in my experience it misses everything. First of all I have a feeling that tge hosts don’t know the meaning of chateau. There were no wines in the menu. The host was sleeping in the reception, the the room, which we booked as an executive and the most expensive with the balcone was a huge disappointment

Great hotel in lovely surroundings. Buffet breakfast and restaurant on site both excellent. Location for Okatse and surrounding areas exceptional. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Good selection for buffet breakfast.
I'd like the opportunity to make a coffee or tea late on but the staff provided this if asked. Expect the pool not to be available, more ornamental.

George was incredibly helpful even leading me some tools to do a running repair on our hire car. The food was superb and the location perfect for Okatse canyon.
the pool was unusable and only one of the power sockets in our room worked but nothing major, I would definitely stop here again.

The location was absolutely perfect If you want to hike the Okatse canyon.
Ucha was extremely friendly and kind,, they were so hospitable and helpful in every way possible.

Very good opportunity for an overnight stay if you travel from Mestia to Tbilisi and don't want to return to Kutaisi.
We enjoyed the quiet countryside and the relaxing atmosphere.
I was a little afraid what we will eat, but the hotel has to offer homemade dishes and for my surprise the meal was one of the best during out time in Georgia. Do not hesitate to try it!
The host is very friendly - we had to try his homemade brandy. :)
Some small things in the room, like a kettle + tee + sugar would be nice, but you can get everything at the reception.

The pool was empty which was a let down for the kids and no mention of that on booking.

Everything fantastic: facilities authentic and kept very clean, fabulous garden and outdoor.
Food is made on the spot with fresh and local ingredients, really tasty and healthy dinners and breakfasts.
Our host has a lot of story to tell and a genuine sense of hospitality.
Highly recommended.

The road is a bit rocky. Get yourself some heavy duty vehicle.
