The staff was amazing and friendly -- the property was beautiful -- the pool and hot tub were great! Great for families and vacations

Very nice hotel that has been recently renovated, conveniently located just off the highway. Hotel was clean, provided quick check-in and breakfast selection was great. Beds were very comfortable. Only small issue was a slight musty smell in our room. Overall would stay again!

We stayed from Saturday to Monday. Sunday morning breakfast was fantastic! But Monday morning they only had cold option food out- nothing hot like eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc. I can understand why they wouldn't put that out on a weekday but I feel they should have said something to us. Overall, very friendly, clean, new hotel.

Best hotel we’ve stay in a long time very impressed

The hotel looks to be in the middle of a remodel. No Internet during our stay. At breakfast, the eggs, bacon, and coffee ran out. Coffee never was refilled. Some bacon came out 30 minutes later. Eggs about 10 minutes after that. The room (a suite) had a kitchen, but no glasses, plates, utensils, silverware, or cookware... Only 2 small plastic cups for cold beverages. There was a hotel style coffee maker (pods, but not Keurig) with 2 cardboard cups for hot beverages. The bed was very comfortable, however.

Our stay was amazing! Staff were so sweet, check in was so fast and easy. Rooms were clean and very nice! The patio was nice as well. Would stay again.

Have stayed here twice now for daughters softball tournaments in Des Moines! Great breakfast and outside area that provides space for kids to be kids! Will book again!

Top notch property for business.

Room was very narrow after the entrance; less walking space between the bed & table which is after the entrance. A/c was too loud.

Who is amazing. The breakfast needs some work. Always out of dishes out of beverages doesn’t have a good signing. There were ants in the room all over the carpet.

It wasn't bad overall, I was just expecting more for the property/price. The workers and service were great. The TV menu is absolutely horrible (there was none) and there is no channel guide in the room anywhere. The bathroom has like a $9.99 hair dryer that smelled like something was burning everytime we turned it on. The bed was fine but the pillows were absolutely horrible. The hot tub is literally just that as when the "jets" are turned on you can barely feel it. The gym is decent for a hotel, nice set of dumbbells and a cable machine, but there is no bench in this gym and not even 1 treadmill just a rowing machine.

We normally get suites when we go on vacation so our kids can have a separate area from us. There was no pictures for the suites so we just took a chance on the junior suite. We were slightly disappointed there is no door separating the bedroom from anything it’s just a HUGE doorway. I will say it was very nicely remodeled and I loved the look of it. They had bocce ball outside and a nice sitting area. The pool area was very big. Altho about 1/4 of the area was full of boxes of some sort. After the pool I asked my son to go ask for some dirty laundry bags to put our wet swimsuits in. And for some pillows for the pull out bed. They told him they had no extra pillows and no laundry bags for guests. Breakfast was horrible. Me and my son went down at 730 and there was almost nothing left to eat. Cold eggs, yogurt, and a pan of stuff no one knew what it was. I overheard other guests saying the previous days were the same way and they don’t restock. My husband and daughter went to breakfast at 830 and said all that was left was eggs. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in a hotel.

You guys knocked it out of the park!! Hands down the best breakfast I have yet to have in a hotel! Very clean rooms! Love the presentation of the Hotel. Very nice decor! I will definitely stay there again.

Great property!

Enjoyed the stay immensely. Couple of opportunities for upkeep, but both minor. Pool area is one of the bes t I’ve been too. Clean. Perfect size. Perfect temp. Clean and well taken care of. Hot tub the same. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The property was very well maintained and the staff was wonderful. I particularly liked that you offered Beckman 1802 products in your rooms. It is absolutely the best soap and I have never seen it at another hotel. It really set your hotel apart as a quality establishment. Thank you.

Very nice hotel, comfortable room. Great workout room, just a tad warm in there. The breakfast wasn’t as good as I expected but overall a great place to stay.

This was fourth or fifth stay at Renovo and I always love it! The staff are friendly and super helpful. I especially appreciated when the staff member who checked me in made sure to keep safe a box of LaCroix I'd accidentally left at the front desk. The only downside to this visit was that the bubbles on the jacuzzi weren't working. :)

We had a terrible check-in. We’ve stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times and upon arrival we were met with heavy sighs and an attitude of “you booked through EXPEDIA so it’s going to take a while to figure this out.” When asked for an upgrade due to our frequent stays, the answer was “no, because you booked through EXPEDIA.” When asked if my Hilton Honors could be applied? “No, because you booked through EXPEDIA.” We were given a terrible room on the first floor directly under a room with a graduation party going on all night. Clearly this property doesn’t appreciate or understand the benefits of booking/bundling through a third party site.

There were bugs in the shower which is unusual for this hotel.

The staff was very efficient & friendly. The hotel, lovely (even though they're renovating a bit). Rooms were clean & roomy; well appointed. We utilized the bocci court & pool extensively. (Great for laps to stretch after a long road trip!)

Very clean property, excellent service.

Overall, the room was really nice. Bathroom was really nice and big. Would've liked to not have so many extremely bright lights everywhere in the bathroom (esp over the toilet), as getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, was too much light. It was also great having a king-sized bed, but the huge TV at the foot of the bed needed to be smaller and up higher. Would also be nice if the TV could've been rotatable at least--so it could be more comfortably watched from the sofa. Otherwise, myself and my friend who stayed in the room across the hall both really enjoyed our experience. We didn't opt to take advantage of the free breakfast, however--probably should have though. :-)
