Lodge was pretty good. Good location, walking distance to a few restaurants. Breakfast was included. Limited selection but pretty good. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Carpet in room needed a good cleaning

We have stayed at this hotel before and loved it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean. The pool area is kept spotless, no mess. The breakfast is delicious. They make sure that they don't run out of food. It is hot and they keep the area very clean.

Though my first night was adjacent to the elevator and ice machine, which was a bit noisy, the staff was quickly to address it. Within an hour or two of me leaving feed back on how my check in went, they made arrangements for my room to be moved. All the front desk staff I encountered were more than friendly and hospitable. I’ve stayed in a lot of place yet non as accommodating as Wildwood Lodge (Clive, Iowa)!

This is a very cozy and welcoming place to stay. The staff was fast and very nice. Lots of places to relax, play games and gather. We will be back!

I feel safe when I stay there. There are three restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast at the hotel has many options. The staff is very helpful.

I liked the theme of the hotel. And even tho i couldnt use, i was having surgery the next day, the hot tub, pool, and firepit were all very nice.

Beautiful hotel!! It was nice and quiet and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the Des Moines area.

I was in town for some training in the area. Really enjoyed my stay. nice hotel, room was clean, and staff was very nice. I did enjoy the breakfast that was provided as well. I found it hard to find the entrance to the hotel as it was not marked well since it is hiding behind the Chili's. Overall, a great place to stay. I would stay here again if ever back in the area.

Loved the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, the super friendly staff, and the variety of choices at breakfast. I loved seeing tables and chairs throughout with a selection of games, too. Wonderful hotel! Clean and comfortable stay.

Wildwood Lodge is a very beautiful hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The decor made us feel like we were in the Adirondacks. Breakfast was included and was very good. The pool was warm and clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

The place was perfect! We met up with friends, and the common area provided a cozy atmosphere with couches and a fireplace for us to chat. Staff was friendly and helpful and rooms cutely decorated and, most importantly, clean and comfortable. The location was also great: near the freeway, but felt like in the country. Several good restaurant options were walking distance away.

The staff is always super fantastic! The rooms are very nice and clean. The property is very nicely maintained. Restaurants are close and shopping areas are not far away. It’s definitely our preferred place to stay when visiting the Des Moines area.

We love the decor, one of the reasons we choose the hotel. The price was fair for the time of our stay. The hotel was clean, we'll kept, the staff friendly and courteous, the free breakfast was simple yet filling and had enough variety to satisfy anyone's wishes for a breakfast to start your day.

The cleanest hotel room I’ve been in in for well over a decade. I found out how old this hotel was and impressed me even more! The desk clerk had a 30 year service on her shirt. We checked in about 10:00 PM. She was there wiping down tables in the breakfast area at 8:00 for breakfast. An amazing experience all around!!!

Really good overall. Breakfast lacked much for real nutritious high protein and fiber with low sugar options. Powder eggs from a bag and biscuits and gravy is such a 2000 hotel breakfast.
Do boiled eggs, milk, water, oatmeal, berries, fruit, nuts.
Overall happy but bummed with breakfast options. Grabbed a banana and ran.
