Needed to be in the Greenwood area on a friday night and due to a basketball tournament in Indy, the hotel prices were pants on head stupid. This Red Rood Inn fit my needs and for the money was good value. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot. The gentleman working the counter got me checked in quickly and was friendly. Thats all I needed. If that fits your situation, then I reccomend staying here.

Hotel was clean and conveniently located. Some of the fixtures are dated, and the atmosphere outside the hotel seemed a bit sketchy, but overall a decent value for the price.

Place was fine but the “non smoking” room smelled like smoke

The worst place Ive stayed at. Smelled like pot. Toilet paper had mold on it and was wrinkled from water damage :). Most of the rooms are getting renovated. There is hazardous construction materials lying around. No lights around stairs, no railing either. It was supposed to be a stop on the way for a good nights sleep but ended up checking out early.

Very friendly and gracious desk clerk upon check-in. No carpet is a good thing for me. They had all that one needs, but not extra stuff that you don't. I highly recommend.

Very old and used room which was far too expensive for the property. Very poor maintenance and I would only stay there if it were the only available place.

This place is a motel. You enter the room straight from the parking lot. That said, it was clean enough and the TV worked. My car didn't get stolen or broken into in the parking lot. No coffee maker in the room and the free breakfast consisted of coffee and mini-muffins. You get what you pay for.

The overall condition of the room was shabby. The jetted tub shot out moldy build up when turned on. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud (clanging sound) and did not cool the room down. The rooms smoke detector/fire alarm was missing and found later in an ice bucket sitting on the table.
When the desk clerk was notified of all of this she was very flippant and unconcerned and dismissive. We were only sleeping there for a few hours so we just beared it. DO NOT STAY HERE. It is unsafe and disgusting.

Room was not assembled, bare mattresses, no bedding, and Floors covered with white bed bug powder. Entire property was a mess. Did not provide refund when we left to get another hotel.

Our room did not have a couch as stated and in the pictures. No coffee in the morning on a Sunday as stated. And no hand soap in the bathroom or even a bar of soap. The tv was also broke.

I wish I was able to send pictures. The ceiling bathroom door was falling down over my bed when I came into my room there was a leak in the bathroom. It was an awful experience. I would never recommend this hotel. Nobody spoke English. The room was terrible. This place needs to be shut down. Very unstable room.

The check in was quick and easy. However, i was very uneasy after my first night some msn was banging on my door from 3am to 5 am looking for some woman had to call the police someone kept calling the room phone at all times of the hour. Shifty characters. There was hair in the shower and on the wall. And the ceiling was missing pieces the wall was missing paint. Was very disappointed. Had the hotel not been so close to the wedding i came in town for i would have checked out the next morning

Kids, grandma and husband all got sick! The standing water in both our rooms made it consistently moist and humid. They're solution was to give us towels to put around the leaking toilet. Desk clerk threatened my daughter when she asked for more towels, which gave her anxiety the rest of the weekend. If it wasn't our only option, we would have left that day. Unpleasant.

The owners are trying, you can see the effort, but it's not quite there yet. People are allowed to party in the parking lot all night long, no restrictions on noise, rooms need deep cleaned and updated, bugs are an issue. Equipment needs replaced, linens need replaced, but there are worse places out there.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The stay here started with my card getting ran hours before I could even check in. Once I sorted that issue out and officially checked in, I got to the room that smelt like Willie Nelson just hosted a weed festival. The room its self was in terrible shape, ceiling had a hole that’s was smack dab in the middle of the room. The towels were dirty, bathroom door wouldn’t shut and there a was bugs in the bathroom and around the tv. Just overall don’t bring anyone you love to this place.l, extremely disappointed by this stay.

Both nights I stayed there were people partying at the pool until 2 am and we couldn't sleep because of the noise. The ceiling was peeling from water damage and there was mold growing on the bathroom ceiling not to mention I still haven't got my deposit back when I left the room cleaner than I got it.

I paid for my room via Expedia. When I arrived I was told I needed to pay an additional deposit (in the amt of the nightly room rate). That’s fairly common so I gave them my cc. Once we checked out the next day I expected to see the pending charge removed. It was not. I waited for a credit. It did not come. I called Red Roof Inn and was spoken to by a rude young man who informed me that the credit would take 7-14 days. I have never heard of such a thing. He asked for my cc and I immediately received a notice from my bank that the card had been credited. I’m very suspicious about whether I would have ever received the credit had I not called to complain.

When we arrived to our room the key reader was taped over so i had to remove that to get in. Once in our room was not cleaned. The bed was not made. They did give us a different room to make uup for it . However we were put in the back next to people here with pets. So it was nothing but dog barking all night.

The rooms were comfortable enough. They could definitely use some updates and new paint. Someone used sheet metal to wrap the frame of the beds, bad choice. They should have used wood. I accidentally
kicked it several times and it made a terrible noise. Two year olds love it. I had a problem with the railing on the 2nd floor. The 2 year old could have fallen through if we had let her loose. There are building codes. That was a huge concern.

The pool was dirty with a lot of debris floating in it. Our room and our bathroom smelled like sewer. There were towels and rags in our room that were dirty, the sheets in our room seemed unchanged, there were stains on the comforters.
