The condo itself was very nice. I loved that it had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Made it a nicer stay than a hotel. Poor water pressure though. Has a nice pier but you can’t fish off it which seemed odd for an obvious boating community. Was very quiet. Nice pool.

Great location with amazing views

PROPERTY 5 STARTS: because the property itself is beautiful, the area is very quiet, and peaceful and it was exactly what i needed this weekend after a month of insane migraines and dealing with emotional issues. THE APARTMENT: Beautiful and very homie, it has everything you need and i literally felt like i was home, also comfy beds & beautiful decor. CHECK IN: INSANE I am still giving this property a 5 start because i won’t let 1 unprofessional person ruined their rate ( WENDY CASTELLANOS ) Manager who has very little to no knowledge on how to handle a person with a service dog. upon arrival i was told i needed to send this person an email with my dogs ID registration and ID # as well as rabies shots and I Did yet this was not enough she went ahead with attitude and started to ask personal questions in regards his performance and why i needed him and my disability issues because she wasn’t present and needed to know. Clearly WENDY CASTELLANOS doesn’t know that is ilegal for a business to ask certain questions. As a manager you should do your homework and should become knowledgeable about what you can and cannot ask a person with a disability and her service dog. once i submitted my dogs legal registration info and my name as his handler and owner was printed on the paper that’s all you needed yet you went ahead and made me feel very uncomfortable asking with attitude about why i needed him and requested the doctors letter that specified in details my personal issues.

All these units are individually owned and managed by a poor management company. We stayed in unit 1404 and there were several things wrong. The sliding screen door screen was broke, the toilet was not secured to the floor as well as had the wrong tank cover on it. When you sat down the toilet it rocked and the tank cover would move. Also the 1st might we were there we couldn’t even shower because we had NO water pressure and the water would not turn off. It ran all night!!!! We called the management company and they said they would have some come take a look at it in the morning. REALLY!!!! That’s how you treat your guests. They didn’t even offer to move us to another unit. They did come by the next afternoon and fix the shower, but the toilet was not fixed. So then we decided to do a load of laundry. Washer worked fine besides being noisy. The dryer, well the lint trap fell into the dryer and the clips that hold it in place were broke. Couldn’t use the dryer. Told the management company and they could have cared less. Very poorly managed and maintained. As for the “beach”, we you can’t even dip your toes in the water because it’s full of coral rocks and the water is nasty there. The only good experience we had was the pool, which is very nice and clean. I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE DOES EITHER!!!! Do your self a favor and look elsewhere.

Quite place

Great property.

Good, spacious apartment, but the air conditioning didn't cool well, the kitchen light was on, some appliances didn't work, and to top it all off, the pool wasn't 3 feet high for the kids. It was a terrible vacation. I don't recommend it.

Room facilitates is good

Great location! Was close to a lot of other restaurants, souvenir shops, bait shops. Grocery store was close as well. Great location for the family. Was well kept, quiet. My kids loved the pool and the private beach area and walking up the private dock/pier. Loved the full kitchen and was able to do our own laundry. The only think that I would say needed improvement was the water pressure in shower. Other than that, we had an Amazing staycation in the Keys/Ocean Pointe to end our Summer break with! We thank you!!

Restaurant was closed but food truck was provided. limited menu and not what I expected at a resort. Everything was a drive including office to check in. It was clean but not immaculate.

I loved it

The overall property is nice with nice amenities. I really like the security on this property. The unit itself was rundown. The entire condo needs to painted the walls are filthy. The bathroom was the worst. The shower was full of mildew, floors are filthy looks like unit hasn’t had a deep clean in a while. Unit 1404 has nice furniture but that doesn’t make up for the way it looks.

The location and the views were great! The room was overall nice but poorly stocked. Very few cups, dishes, towels. We booked for 4 people and there were only 4 towels and 2 pool towels for our 4 night stay. No cooking spray or laundry detergent which was fine but would have been nice. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the couch was stained up and dingy. The place could have been cleaner. We are easy to please but this place could have been better with a little effort. Very small balcony but nice to have. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I suspect a different room may have been better.

Nothing to say about this place except it was fantastic!! Rooms were large and very clean. Close to great dining options and the pool was amazing!! We loved this place and are already planning our next trip there!

Nice location and views

We have been at Ocean Point several times and we have stayed in unit 5211 before. The property and the pool is amazing. However unit 5211 is SEVERELY OUTDATED. The stove top burners half work they are only have one setting High. The dishwaher is TERRIBLE. I have never seen a dishwasher that on the top rack you cant put tall glasses on the top rack. The living room furniture is extremely uncomforable and outdated 1990s rotan and when you sit on the couch the cushions slide off. Paint on the walls is outdated and needs repainted as its fading. The company or the owner needs to sink some money into this unit because its not worth the price per night when you can go a mile down the road and pay the same price for a updated condo. Now on a positive note, the proerty is very nice and the pool is amazing. We will return to Ocean Point just not in unit 5211.

Beautiful view of the water and sunrise

The absolute only thing that I didn’t like about Ocean Pointe was their check in process and Expedia’s poor way of making the check in process clear. The check in facilities are off the premises and this information was at clear on the confirmation (at least to me). In addition, I spoke with a representative from the resort prior to my arrival and the check in process was never mentioned to me. I waited in the security line for 20 minutes to be told to leave the facilities and drive appropriately a 1.5 miles in the Florida Keys with July 4th traffic to check in then proceed back to the resort to wait in the security line again. It was ridiculous. This process should be made clearer and I would be interested in your opinion in this process that you have established for check in. The property was clean and nice. The pool was great. We spent a lot of time in the pool. The beach area wasn’t great, but none of the beaches in that area are. Our unit was a little outdated but it was clean and everything worked properly. Would definitely stay there again, but hopefully the restaurant will be open. The food truck was not open in the evenings.

I never write reviews but this will be my first! From the date that I booked at Ocean pointe until the day that we left, all I can say is WOW! Totally recommend & already talking about booking again! 5 stars & very well deserved

Convenient location however The room was dated, the sliding door would not lock, holes in sofa, fridge smelled awful like fish. We would not stay here again

We recently stayed at this condo and found it to be adequate for our needs. The condo had just enough towels, kitchen supplies, and other essentials to get by, though nothing stood out as exceptional. The air conditioning worked well, which was a relief, and we felt safe throughout our stay. The beds were passable, though not particularly comfortable. For the price, it did its job and met our basic requirements. If you’re looking for a simple, budget-friendly option, this condo is a reasonable choice.
