We are being accused of messing up the room and being charged a ridiculous cleaning fee for using the room for approximately 5 hours to sleep. The owner called my daughter and her friend prostitutes when my husband picked them up from the train station. They claimed the room was clean when we arrived but had bed bugs when we left. We arrived to find spoiled food in the refrigerator. We are being charged a cleaning fee for the hotel to take care of a bug problem we did not create. I don’t care how close to the Amtrak station this is - will never stay there or recommend them again

Breakfast was off brand honey buns and old cereal😭 beds were kinda gross too but it is what it is my little ones. I love you

Bedroom was tidy and clean, bathroom was very moldy

I stayed just one night as a stopover, and the place was fine, as well as inexpensive. It's far from impressive and very basic, but served the purpose as needed.

I honestly can say clean rooms they gave me a room tht was fairly clean but most importantly no bed bugs or rodents I’m a black woman and I’m currently going through a living situation but I also get off work at midnight and i didn’t feel uncomfortable I was able to go to my room and not feel like someone was watching me leaving and coming but rooms are outside more of a motel than hotel but i highly recommend if you need some where to crash but i will inform they do 100$ deposit tht yu will get back so be aware.

The property itself is well maintained, and the room was very clean. The mattress was firmer than I like. Overall it was decent.

Exactly what I expected from an Econolodge. It was comfy and clean. No bugs. Great shower. Nice service. Okay for a n overnight.

As a solo woman traveler, I was too afraid to even walk up the stairs to my room. There were two homeless people walking out of the parking lot as I pulled in. There was a loud drunk man on the balcony yelling down to me about my rear end as soon as I got out of my car. Then either someone under the influence of drugs or schizophrenia came from around the corner and started shouting at me about my dog. I went to the front office and told the manager and he kept telling me everything was fine and I was safe. I told him I didn't feel comfortable walking up the stairs by myself to my room and he was the only person on duty so it was not able to offer any assistance with escorting. Kept telling me I was fine and just go to my room... I let him know that I was uncomfortable staying there and would rather just continue driving on my journey. He told me because I booked through Expedia that I was unable to receive a refund through them and I would have to contact expedia. I reached out to Expedia who called the hotel and spoke to that man at the front desk. That man told them that I lied and that no such incident happened! Expedia will also not refund me. So I will also be reaching out to the choice hotels headquarters. Do not stay here. It's not a nice place. It's full of drunks, drug addicts and homeless people.

Amazing stay!!! Front desk personal we're perfect and helped along the way and we're very understanding. Only thing missing is iron and ironing board in rooms but the front desk to their credit did provide a iron at the least. It was greatly appreciated!

Good place for the money

Somehow this property had a good rating. Very innaccurate. Bare bones and ugly location lousy. Not so friendly

What I didn’t like is that I put a reservation With expedia.com for a room, but I chose the wrong room a non-smoking instead of a smoking and when I got to the hotel, there was a young man who charged me 65 dollars to switch to a smoking room So you might want to be careful going to the Econo Lodge because I think I’m a start going up the street to the comfort cause I thought $65 was a little exorbitant just to switch to an ashtray

The family that runs this Econo Lodge is friendly and the property is well kept. They made me feel very welcome and safe.

Room not clean, hand rails at the tub/shower loose. Bathroom sink very slow to drain. Smoke detector covered with a rag.

Staff have always been calm, courteous and helpful and I have never had a negative interaction with other guests either. Ive stayed in both smoking and non smoking rooms and I suppose if I had any criticism, it would be that while the non smoking rooms have always been clean. comfortable and properly serviced, the smoking rooms are clean, but often have something in need of repair or replacement.

The hotel is sitting on top of Old Lick cemetery territory and over top of burried African Americans, probably, illegally. They charged my card twice, $150.69. The room I stayed in, 236, was infested with bed bugs which i didnt notice until 2am while reading sitting in a desk chair, I'm sure the entire hotel is also infested with bed bugs. I got bit and showed the owner, I have pictures of the bites and also the mattress lining that's clearly coated in bed bugs, the owner and his wife accused me of bringing the bugs, because I had been there 3 days and never said anything. I couldn't say anything until I noticed after being bitten. I want a refund at the very least, I called the police as well. They informed me that this is a civil matter.

I asked for a non smoking room but the room smelled of smoke. Beds are super comfy. The shower was hot with plenty of pressure. The room was clean & we had no issues. The outside was decent & was not noisy at all.

Get what you pay for budget hotel. Close to interstate so lots of tractor trailer noise. Not their fault. Next to a Subway restaurant and Starbucks is about 2 blocks away. Very friendly desk person
