Wonderful location near the beach and many restaurants. Good breakfast. Some renovation might be needed here and there, but overall a very nice stay.

Location was good great view of the marina. But let down by age of the decor. needs urgent update/refurbishment to modern standards and eco friendly. Staff were nevertheless helpful.

The hotel is situated with a very nice sea and Marina view. Nice balcony with sunset scenes. The hotel is rather old and suffer from cheap renovation. Everything works and the service is ok.

Insufficient parking. Only 30 spaces for 90+ rooms. Building itself inside and outside needs refurbishment. Our room carpet was almost bare on places. Very tired.

Located at the heart of La Grande-Motte it is a great location with a great view over the Marina. A nice restaurant we enjoyed the buffet breakfasts and the dinner options were fine. A small pool which was enough for our young family but no use if you want to have a decent morning swim. The hotel itself was pretty jaded. Paint chipping off the walls and everything faded. In desperate need of a renovation but overall we had a pleasant stay.

The view was beautiful! Loved having my coffee in the balcony watchimg the sailboats. They had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Definitely would come here again.

Nice hotel and every room has great views over harbor. Only gripe is that there are no electrical outlets near beds! Due to this, my phone died and alarm did not wake me up on time and was late to business meeting. That it's thought. Very nice place to stay in Grand Motte with plenty of places to drink and eat within short walk

this hotel is well situated in the harbor, a parking on the backside of the hotel, breakfast could be improved, there was no baguette for a long time, the orange juice on the ground

Check in was quick , room was clean , free wifi ( not very fast ) free tea and coffee . Breakfast was nice , a lot of choices . Happy with our experience

Very friendly staff! Beautiful view from room! Most of the local area was closed due to it being the off season. Staff spoke English and French.

Below average would describe the experience at this hotel. This 4 star hotel should be stripped of one of them. The air conditioning did not work, the staff was unable to help. If you travel with lots of luggage, get ready to haul them yourself, as there is no assistance provided. On the plus side, the views were nice, and breakfast was good.

Hotel Mercure is located in between the two beach areas (walking distance to both) and just next to the boats and the catamaran, which you can join for mini cruises. Easy access to a number of external restaurants and activities at night. Hotel pool convenient for a quick dip in the morning or afternoon, if you do not want to stay at the beach all day. We had a fantastic view from the balcony :-)

Loved this location. Close to the beach, Marina, and great restaurants. The bus to Montpillier is one block away. Very convenient

I recently visited this hotel on 27/06/15 and the staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in a superior suite on the 4th floor with s balcony facing the water and the view was amazing! The hotel is in a fantastic location however the hotel itself really needs to be redecorated and updated. The carpets in the corridors and bedroom were worn down and had bleached patches everywhere - I didn't feel I could walk barefoot in my room so had to wear my shoes. The curtains had holes in them which were due to wear and tear and in general the hotels needs some attention. However, it is a comfortable hotel and breakfast buffet was good with enough choice. The hotel has a swimming pool but the water even on the hottest day was freezing cold. I would visit this hotel again.

The hotel itself is very nice. It is situated in the middle of the marina area, and is surrounded by bars, restaurants and 'arcades'. I would have preferred it to be a little quieter, but the open beaches are just 5 minutes walk away. The rooms are clean and spacious & the staff are very helpful and friendly. We were the only English speaking guests at the time, doesnt bother us but it may bother others.

Amazing sea view from the spacious room. Great to have our own balcony. Able to walk to everything.

Very nice hotel - careful though as breakfast and parking is extra (which is why i didn't give it 5 stars). I went with my wife and three year old and the location was great with resturants and the beach being so close. All in all it was a nice, clean hotel with great views over the port.

We went out of session the hotel was adequate and we had a room with a marina views. Better seaside areas up or down the coast.
