When I arrived to check in, the desk person gave me a receipt for the room that did not have the amount charged to my card on it. Could not give me a receipt because I had 'booked on line' Given rm 110, staff followed me to room to show me how to work door, light turned red not green as other places because of 'low battery'. Room only had 2 pillows on king, bed, no refigerator, microwave, coffee, bare bones. When I said this was not what iI am used to, accusing tone, 'why did you book this room. ' Shown another room, with 4 pillows, refiterator, microwave, coffee, computer desk, more in line with what I have been getting/ Said I could have this room for $15/night, again no receipt. Room was nice except for glaring unpleasant overhead lights at head of bed & over desk, rather than lanps as I am used to.

Originally booked for the low price but averagely alright reviews as well as the “free crib” amenities. When we arrived, I asked if they had baby cribs but they did not which defeated the purpose of booking them. The front desk was very nice despite this fact. The bed sheets and towels looked clean, but my fiancé did report that he saw roaches. Also, whatever renovations had been done left spackles of caulk, grout, and whatever everywhere as well as paint, so it does look cheap. We didn’t use the TV since most nights we turned in early for my baby’s bedtime. The sheets were VERY thin, so if you like a cold room but cozy bed, bring an extra blanket. There are no side lamps, just two ceiling spotlights. It is right off of the interstate, plus a less favorable area of Lafayette so of course, there are some sketchy looking people. But if you mind your business, they will mind their’s. The only patrons that did not mind their businesses were the local cat colony. There are some very friendly, sweet cats who will attempt to enter your room while you are unpacking luggage. Overall, it was what I expected for the price, minus the lack of crib. So, I would say it met my expectations but did not succeed them, which is why I am rating this hotel rather mid or lower than mid (except for the staff, who were nice).

I enjoyed my stay but they need to fix they hot water heater no one wants to take a cold shower

The room was bright , led light needs a dimmer, paint scratches from a chair that rubbed against the wall. The looked like it was just painted silk had tape on the lights. The door lash was broken, door closed but not properly. The outside of thr motels need some maintenance

The staff was very strange and would decide which rules to in force day by day and they kept wanting a deposit every day

Bedbugs, just i one day on the hotel and it wasn't good experience, i resquest to property return the days that no used and he refused. Pictures are diferent how they show expedia

The first room I was in I could not breathe. I requested a new room they put me in a room where the bed I was sleeping in seemed to generate its own heat The next room had a TV that honestly put out so much Extra microwaves it heated my body to where I hurt The bed was even worse as far as comfort it was hit but I kept hurting so bad I literally had to sleep on the floor

I took photos. It is NOT a safe area. Traveling alone, I stayed 6 hours and then left. Security lock was bent. AC wasn’t running properly. Trash all over the property. My key card sleeve had been used twice before, they just scratched out numbers. This place is not safe, not clean. I advise that you not stay here.

It was quite run down, where they painted was splashed all over the floor. No lights on end tables. not well maintained

Comfortable and clean bed. Microwave and fridge with freezer. Polite and helpful staff. Excellent shower and bathtub. Good Internet. Amazingly good desk and chair. By the truck stop and near the flixbus stop. Many eating options within walking distance. Far from town. Non smoking room but the sheet had a cigarette burn hole. I actually came back.

I wouldn't dare recommend this hotel, not only is the rooms nasty, but the owner is rude and they totally kept my $20.00 deposit for no reason what so ever... They refused to clean my room and when I ask them to...stating u r only entitled to 1 cleaning service a week...what??? I've never heard that from a hotel ever .anyway I highly recommend that everyone stay as far r away from this place as possible...

Room had what looked like throw up on the wall by front door. Several Holes in walls. Burn marks on all the tables. When I first arrived they tried to get me to cancel the room and they charge me at the hotel more then what i booked to have a “good room” there was also a man walking around the parking lot carrying a gun “not a security guard” yikes!

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The smell of stale smoke and piss hit me hard as soon as I walked in the (non-smoking) room. I was exhausted so I sucked it up - big mistake. The bathroom was terrifying - hanging electronic fixtures, peeling paint, and a stronger piss smell - and the rest of the room was dingy. I got to sleep and in the middle of the night someone started pounding on my door and window screaming to let them in as well as a litany of violent threats. I ran to the bathroom to hide and called the front desk, and they didn't seem to care. I then called the police, who I asked to wait as I quickly packed and left so I could feel safe leaving my room. At checkout the front desk didn't seem to care at all - even answering a call while I was trying to request a refund - and told me I'd have to come back in the morning if I wanted a refund. Complained and got it from Hotels.com instead.

They blamed me for putting paint in the bathtub an made me pay 100$ cash when I already had paid a deposit for a room that had a hole in it an roaches crawling on cabinets an paint in the tub never ever will I go there again I don't. Recommend this place to any one my wife was scared to walk out the room by her self because different black men would talk to her an harass her trying to pay her for sex very disrespectful an disruptive environment.

It was a decent price for a room compared to what other places were requesting. Although maybe you get what you pay for. The carpets were dirty, the tv didnt work, the water was barely even warm at best.

This place was disgusting. Holes in the wall. A used soap pouch in the shower. Real shady place. I expect better from a red roof inn. Ended up leaving at 4am cuz I was concerned for the safety of myself and my car. Don't stay here.

The room was disgusting, dirty and smelled like pet urine. There were holes in the walls, the bathroom vent had loose wires hanging from it and the water pressure in the shower was ridiculously low. There were always people “hanging around” in the parking lot, all night long. We were even asked if we wanted to buy pot. I don’t think I have ever felt more unsafe at any hotel before. Stay away from this place.

The room (despite the posted CLEANLINESS Guarantee) was not so clean! Although I requested the advertised NO SMOKING room, it smelled like smoke (curtains & beds). Sheets & towels seemed clean, but they were dingy, & I had to spray MY OWN LYSOL(!) on the sink, tub & toilet before I could use them!!! There was a dent in the wall that they tried to hide with a chair! I have stayed at Red Roof Inns from CA to GA, & this is the only one that didn’t have a fridge/microwave/coffeemaker, although there was space. Unless there is a change of management, I probably won’t stay here again!!

Only way to describe this place: what a dump! Gross factor was high. The absolute worst hotel I've EVER stayed at, by far. Can't believe the health inspectors haven’t closed it down.

Filthy. Bugs in fridge. Roach in bed.

Filthy dirty, smelled even worse. Literally walls of the room were busted open, the dresser defaced and smashed in. The kind of place you can get shot in and no one even check on you.

It was conveniently located to several food establishments, and that is the only good thing I can say. There was black mold all over the tops of the wall in the bathroom, as well as in the actual shower itself. There is no way that they actually thought that was okay for human beings to inhabit, even just for a night. I understand that the hotel room was cheap, but the condition of this “deluxe” room was completely appalling.

The room was clean but the drawers were broken and the staff seemed friendly. Other than that, there was a guy jerking off outside staring at people.
