The breakfast was not well managed/maintained. Seemed like they threw a mass of food out and then didn’t think they should have to replenish it. Other places, put some out and refill as it gets low; so that the food doesn;t get over cooked, stuck together or soggy. Otherwise, it is a pleasant stay.

The hotel was nice, but the entrance into the hotel parking lot was scary-especially in the late afternoon rush hour when we arrived. Not in a very walkable location.

The hotel stay was excellent, enhanced by free breakfast (which was unexpected). Customer service was top-notch. The rooms were very spacious and clean with the necessary amenities for family stay, including dispensers for high quality liquid soap. The only minor issues include low quality toilet paper and some unfixed minor defects (e.g. toilet paper holder). Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Check in was quick and easy, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included which is nice, although it’s nothing fancy. Hotel is a bit dated, but it was clean. Great location - close to the highway, restaurants, shops, Charlottesville and UVA.

They gave us incorrect timings for the breakfast when we checked in so we never got o have any. They didn’t clean the room. The hotel is dusty and smelly and musty.

They have a no locals policy that I wasn’t aware of so I can’t come back to property since I’m within 50 miles. Checkout was at 12, but someone tried to barge into my room at 11. Luckily, I had the second lock on otherwise they would have been in my room. I can say it wasn’t the most pleasant experience

This was fine for the price - I did not want to spend lots of a few nights in town - simply wanted clean, safe, and for me quiet is important. The staff accommodated my request to move my room from one facing the highway to one facing the woods in the back. 29 can get loud! Exactly what I expected for the price. Breakfast is not included unlike most Holiday Inns I have stayed in so make sure you buy it in advance or make plans to get breakfast elsewhere.

The check in staff could not have been friendlier. Seriously. The staff at this hotel absolutely rule. The gym was great too - was able to get a full workout in completely by myself. Unfortunately, my shower was broken and the drain was completely clogged, so I had to stand in freezing cold water any time I wanted to bathe. Maybe in another room, I'd absolutely stay here again. The location is great. Thanks y'all!

We arrived early, staff was unhelpful. We finally got our room key after waiting in line over an hour to check in. Got there at 2:45 finally got to desk at 3:50. There was at least 10 ppl in line. The one lady said I can’t help anyone else the other lady Laura had to work alone with over 10 ppl in line after us. We got our room key, it was wrong. They gave us the wrong room. On the wrong floor. We finally got the key to the right room, light fixtures were broken. No hot water. No working AC unit. Everyone in line before us had similar issues. I’m not one to complain but it was not an enjoyable experience at all & I was charged 3x for the 50$ fee for room insurance. My 258$ room became more than 400$, I hope that is a mistake because this has been a horrible experience

Check in time was 3pm on a Saturday NOONE’S rooms were ready at check in there was a long line it took about 45 minutes to check in to find me a clean room to check into. And I got to get services at 2:55pm so many upset people like myself. The first few people in front of me next day breakfast was free. Mine wasn’t it was a complete cluster mess.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. We had an issue with one room which someone had smoked in but the staff took care od us and immediately got us into another room. Definitely will go there again.

Easy to park and check in however with check in staff were unsure about pet fees and never really checked us into the hotel until we were back from the event that brought us to the area, a second staff member stopped us and readdressed the fact that we had pets and if we were aware that additional fees would apply and asked for a credit card to be put on file. Overall, a messy check in process.

Weird dynamics with house keeping. House keeping did not clean after our first night. Early evening when we asked the front desk, they (completely unfazed) indicated that house keeping was winding down and that should have gotten done earlier(it did not). On our third day, they did a lackluster job with one of the beds and did not make our other queen bed.
