The room was in complete shambles: chair was filthy and dirty. Bath room had no waste bin, the faucet knob to switch from tap to shower almost came off when pulled. Bath towels had holes and smelt worse than my mopping cloth. The staff at front was indeed courteous and gave us extra towels when we asked for it.

They never returned my hundred dollar deposit

Don’t stay here, the hotel smells terrible and the rooms as well. The rooms were sticky and not clean. Staff were rude and were not paying attention while doing check in. They are on their phones instead. We had 2 nights booked and only stayed one. Not worth the price at all.

Expedia, Please take this place off of your listings. It is not handicap accessible…. no elevator. It is filthy…no functional shower, toilet seats falling off…staff could care less….perfumed filled rooms to cover mildew and possibly more dangerous airborne pathogens. Are there no building codes in Layfeyette? In order to protect your reputation as a travel resource, take this place off of your listings.

This hotel was terrible it was absolutely not worth what we paid. I am incredibly disappointed in the quality and would never recommend this hotel. Do not stay here.

Not clean, hotel knew the rooms weren't up to rental standards but still tried to rent out room

It was a terrible experience. I appreciate that they are an extended stay place so many people live there but the place is in poor condition. The ceiling was chipped. The bathrooms looked stained and just in bad condition.

This hotel looks absolutely nothing like in the pictures must be from when it was new. The room was clean but I don’t they stick any money back into the property. So many things busted in the room but they just tape things and paint over it.

I checked in and didn’t feel good in the lobby. I went to the first room and the A/C didn’t work. Asked for a2nd room and it was awful! Nats were in the room, the arm chair was filthy and the beds looked like it was used. I went back to front desk and refused to stay. Drunk man bumping into walls walking by.. Gross and would not recommend for a woman alone.

Pretty cool

This was probably the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was a rubber bath mat in the tub with black stuff around it. I don't know if it was mold, but it looked gross. There was a spot on the wall for a fire alarm, but there wasn't one. One of the nightstand's lights didn't work. Upon further inspection, there was no plug there and no attempt to plug it in anywhere, so it was just for show, I guess. There was also a big blank space on the wall opposite the bed where a dresser would usually go, but there was no dresser. Finally, the room stank of old smoke and a nasty attempt to cover it up. It made everything I had with me smell so bad it needed washing upon leaving that hotel. Awful.

The made never clean he sheets on the beds they just straighten the covers in put them back on. The guy at the first desk is rude. I waited 30 minutes to a hour to even get checked into the room.

Probably the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at in my lifetime. We will definitely remember the sticky floors, the ashtray smelling bathroom, the stained bed covers, and the ripped chair. Probably camping in the woods is more hygienic than this hotel. I can't believe anyone has rated it above -1 star.

Shower curtain rod installed incorrectly, curtain did not cover the shower and led to water splashing everywhere

This property is terrible. Grimy. The lighting in the room didn’t work. There were extension cords to table lamps that were a fire hazard. I asked for a quiet area and I was put next to a room that had a gathering that has excessive noise all through the night until 7 am. There was a domestic dispute as well. I called to the. Front desk multiple times to get them to stop the noise. Multiple times no one answered leaving me to deal with it myself. Unacceptable. I got zero sleep. I went to the desk to check out and demanded my money back it was so bad. The lady behind the counter clearly was unable to address it and blew it off to the “manager” who was to be in at 10 am. I left my name, phone number and he was supposed to call. No call. Crickets. Pathetic hotel. I would never recommend this hotel. Worst Econolodge I have ever visited and is a bad mark on the econolodge Brand. Terrible management

Rude staff. No breakfast. My door didn’t even lock! Sketchy people hanging around outside. Renovations going on—lots of banging and slamming. Piles of mattresses, bed frames, garbage, grocery carts all over outside.

Carpets in room were dirty and sticky. Bathroom floor was sticky. No facial tissue anywhere.

The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful.

The floors weren't all that clean and a lot of things had plastic around wallpaper ruined and such.

They are in the process of remodeling.

The quiet

Unfortunately, the water in the bathtub did not work properly, the television did not work, the gym was not in function, there was never breakfast. A little disappointed with the place.

Was forced to get a room due to the amount of traffic after the eclipse. Next time, I'll just suck it up and drive. (one plus...the TV worked!)

Poor condition. Lighting fixtures missing off wall. Bathtub faucet missing. Window does not fully close. Overall not very clean. Towels very worn. Overall should not have been available for booking.

Very dirty everywhere

Water pressure terrible.

To start things off, after driving a big crane for 12 hours, I was tired but like to wind down. Get in my room and stains on bed, towels and the TV did not work! Unacceptable and expect a refund for such a shiity hotel!
