This is a nicely renovated old building a few blocks north of Miracle Mile. Plenty of restaurants are walking distance. It is also a short drive from the airport. The building features an extremely cool, very old elevator--one of those elevators you've seen in movies from the 1920s and 30s. Note that sound proofing in this hotel is a weakness and the noise from the hallway can be a nuisance.

Great stay! Excellent service from friendly staff. Comfortable room. Very cool vintage manually-operated elevator with staff always available to meet customer needs. Award winning restaurant accessible from hotel lobby. Reasonably priced in Coral Gables neighborhood.

The staff was friendly and allowed me to check in early in the morning when a room became available. The hotel was comfortable, quiet and clean. I loved the “old” charm of the elevator and the bedroom. It was a comfortable stay.

We LOVED our stay here! The staff were so kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. It has vintage casement windows you can open to overlook the city, our shower even had one which I loved! My favorite part was the elevator (lol) it is a manual crank elevator built in the 1920s, super, super cool experience. A staff member does have to work the elevator so if you can’t find them at the front desk they may be doing that. Stairs are an option too if there’s a line. Overall had an amazing stay and definitely plan to return!

The hotel is beautiful , and comfortable and in a beautiful area of Coral Gables .. parking was the only negative .
On site restaurant is amazing as well you have excellent options on Giralda Avenue near by .

Gorgeous little boutique hotel with friendly staff spacious clean rooms. The vintage style with all the modern comforts was absolutely beautiful. The only issue is parking, parking is limited and costly.

Very nice hotel, located in a very quiet and beautiful part of town. Very friendly and helpful staff, we arrived at the hotel at 8 a.m. to drop our bags off, knowing that check-in was at 4 p.m. However, since there was a free room immediately available, they let us in the room right away.
Very clean hotel, huge and very comfortable bed, spacious shower, towels are changed daily. Thanks again for the hospitality.

This is one of our favorite places to stay in Coral Gables. Great location with lots of dining and shopping. Boutique hotel - so no amenities, but we love the charm of this place better than a big box hotel. Highly recommend if you are staying a night or two in Coral Gable.

This property was amazing ! Our room was exactly as described and the entire hotel was beautifully kept. The 98 yr old elevator was my personal highlight amd Zucca was delicious. We will be back !

I liked the size of the hotel but it was kind of noisy on the streets and we could hear everything but the staff is great which we had to see every time you needed to go down the elevator as it’s original from when the hotel was built in 1905 they rooms are all new and renovated

Renovations bring this hotel up to date. It is a charming mainstay of downtown Coral Gables. We won't hesitate to stay there again.
