The front desk staff was very friendly and the valet service was helpful and efficient. We encountered an issue with what appeared to be a blood stain on the underside of one of the comforters, but new bedding was provided within about 20 minutes of calling the front desk. The rest of the room was clean and bedding was comfortable.

Check in was very busy with what appeared to be a large group. Completed were slow, which wasn't helpful but Tim checked us in quickly. He was very professional and efficient. Very happy with our stay here.

Checkin is at 3 pm and at 4:30 pm when we tried to checkin, no rooms ready. A whole lobby full of people waiting for rooms. Had to wait until 5:15 pm for a room.

We had a great night! We were running late for the Walleye game and the valet took our vehicle so we could hurry to the Huntington. We got back after and Tim had everything ready to go for our room. We were able to up and drop off things to head back out for a bit. When we returned, we stopped to pick up a snack and since the scanner wasn’t working they were on the house!
The bed was beyond comfortable and we slept better than ever. The shower was big and plenty of hot water. I think our only issue was that the body soap bottle was empty. Oh and when we woke up and opened up the curtains we realized we had a perfect view of 5/3rd! Otherwise everything was perfect!

Just that we spent 5 mins on the elevator trying to go to the 9th floor. I feel they should tell you you need your room key to travel up to your room.

Not a very big front desk, and not a lot of people working there. But they are friendly and helpful.
Issues with house keeping the last day due to staff shortages. Also phone system issues that day.
Nice access to the Glass City Center.
Chefs burned bacon on the first day, and the fire alarm woke me up after very little sleep.

The appearance of the hotel was good. Took a long time to check in. Several of the elevators were wet on the floor, not sure why. I accidentally left my lighted make up mirror in the bathroom and called the hotel that evening once I got home, they said that housekeeping was closed and they would check with them in the morning. I never heard from them and subsequently called the following day. They said they did not have it. It’s a 14 inch standup lighted makeup mirror worth $80 for sure somebody took it. No one followed up again.

We went to Toledo for a concert around the corner at the Huntington Arena. Literally 5 minute SAFE walk. Dinner at the Registry Bistro smack dab in the middle of our path. Amazing dinner and menu. Bar at the hotel still hopping and serving food after the concert. We love this place. BTW-I give a 3 star on eco friendly because I could care less and think that category is beyond stupid.

I was disappointed that breakfast was not included and that there was a pet fee. My reservation with hotels.com implied that breakfast was included and the pet fee was not clearly stated Also, there was not so much as a pitcher of water complementary in the lobby

Wonderful hotel! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Hot breakfast the next day was very good and the staff poured coffee with a smile.
Our room was very comfortable and clean and modern, with all needed amenities. Should be rated a 4 star hotel.

Check in was quick and easy. The property is centrally located and the staff were knowledgeable on places to eat and have a drink. I recommend doing the valet service to avoid dealing with the parking garage. worth the money.

When you ask to speak to the manager, the answer should never be “there isn’t one to speak to.” There was a large Labor Day parade which was great, but each staff member gave conflicting info about whether they could or would get our car out of the parking lot. We eventually were able to get it out thanks to a helpful customer who spoke to the police about the problem, but the hotel should have predicted the issue and helped resolve it. They probably should have frankly refunded the $28 valet parking fee. Other than that, room and location was great.

We liked the central location with the view of the Mudhens stadium, proximity to Blarney's Irish Pub, walking distance to whatever we wanted, City Egg for breakfast,and the serendipity of the Irish dance competition right next door. Was this not the site of the old Tiedke's?

I cannot believe we had to pay for parking overnight, that should be included in the stay. I think everything was VERY overpriced in the resteraunt/bar area even the little snacks they have by the registration desk, so over priced it's ridiculous. We used to stay all the time at this location but will have to rethink this in the future.

This stay served its purpose. We needed a place to sleep for the night before an early DTW departure and a place to park our car.
Our room was on the first floor next to an exit door and the ceiling allowed us to hear the noisy family above us.
The room has not been updated in a long time. Obvious signs of wear and tear - scraped edges of wall and furniture, scraped off enamel and wallpaper in bathroom, and please do something about the drapes that don’t completely close (did I mention we were on the first floor next to an exit door?)
Breakfast was hot and plentiful.
Also: “free parking” is only for the night you stay (we ended up paying $50 to park for 8 days when we only needed it for 3 extra days - $50 was cheaper than paying daily rate)

It was ok. Valet service checking out was problematic as the front desk could not connect me to them. I wanted to call ahead so my car was there. Once I personally saw valet was very prompt and easy. No one told me I could do this at the app. On my own. No one could direct me to where I needed to be at a venue and didn’t even try. I ended up taking a long route when I could have gotten there much more quickly thru the hallway to the convention. Poor customer service. Prepare to be self directed. Hotel itself nice.
