Really nice staff and the lobby / restaurants are really well done. Breakfast was great. Only bad I would say was the room. It wasn’t refurbished and a bit old. The bed too.

Lovely hotel in great location. Short walk directly along the river into old town.good parking for 8 euros per night. You cannot reserve parking and it was busy but its a big car park so we got a space ok

Great overnight stay. Some minor issues - paint flaking off door, no plug in the bathroom basin, no ability to change air conditioning setting - but good location and exc3llent public rooms. Double glazing ensures no traffic noise but at expense of “warm” room for sleepin*.

Christian at the Reception gave us an enthusiastic and informative welcome. The entire staff was communicative, efficient and affable. The room was comfortable, spacious and functional with river view. It became warm in the middle of the two nights, even though the thermostat indicated 18C. Felt like 26C. Dinner at L'Entreact was a pleasant surprise. Our waiter, Mourchad was attentive and took excellent care of us. The Menu offers a vast variety of choices. Food preparation was very good. The entire wait staff offered great and accommodating service to all patrons. And specially with children. The facade needs a touch up but the lobby is classy.

Have stayed here before when in the area. Always our first choice. A short walk to the city centre too for restaurants and bars.

Great overnight stay. The hotel is conveniently situated at the entrance to the city so easy to park and then a 10 minute walk into the centre along the river. Good sized room (we had a family room) which was comfortable. We didn't have breakfast but it did look nice so we definitely do that next time. Lovely outside pool area and a really friendly welcome. We love Orleans so this is a great stopover for us

We really enjoyed dinner in the restaurant - it was original and delicious, and included fresh vegetables. Breakfast was good too. The room was comfortable with a good shower.
The only drawback for me was the décor. I found it lacked subtlety and good taste - lots of black and hard, shiny accents.

The common areas at this hotel are beautiful. The outdoor deck and pool are beautiful, the reception area is very nice, and the restaurant is attractive. The location is great.
The hallways and our room needed paint and updating. The porch floor was pealing and cracked, and the ceiling had what looked like a water leak line.
The dinner staff were wonderful, especially Massey and the chef…and the food was delicious. The breakfast staff were not great, with minimal friendliness and interaction, and the breakfast buffet was very poor. Very poor scrambled eggs, a rude response from 1 male waiter when a request was made for a fried egg, the cheese choice was minimal, sweaty and moldy, and there was no fruit salad. The breakfast staff were more concerned about setting up for lunch in stead of attending to our needs. Very poor. They need waitress and waiter training!!

This hotel should not be a 4 stars. Very old furniture. Not outlets with international plugs. No plugs by the bed. Truly need to be renovated. The pictures are much better than the actual room. Humidity in the bathroom with low ceiling. Not Impressed for a Mercure! Not worth the amount paid!

Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, clean beds, BUT Carpets all dirty UGLY old carpets all over. Hotel needs a up date urgen, teh least replace carpets in rooms and all hotel areas, dirty stained carpets all over.
