The bathrooms are really outdated. Hot water didn’t get hot unless you ran the water for at least 5 minutes or more. Shower/tub - I wouldn’t sit down in it that’s for sure.
Beds to me were comfortable but not my husband.

When we checked in, our bathroom wasn’t clean. There was dirty towels left in a pile on the floor by the tub. The floor mat was over the tub and had brown dirty on it. There was only 2 clean towels in the room for us. The next day room service never cleaned our room and gave us fresh towels or toilet paper. Our garbage can wasn’t emptied. The girl at the desk was very nice but they had no one else working so we had to go pick it up at the front desk ourselves.
The air conditioner/heater was so loud that every time it turned on, it would wake us up.
The room smelled of mold, probably because the bathroom didn’t have a fan. Also the tub didn’t drain.
The overall hotel was very run down. We were overcharged for the rooms that we received due to it being a football weekend. We wouldn’t stay there again.

The bedroom was nice enough but I give a 1-star to the bathroom. Rust colored water coming out of the tap that dissipated after a minute. Also who tries to put wall trim around the tub? Then caulks it with so much caulk it’s horrific? Tub paint was peeling off and moisture issues on the ceiling. No thank you.

The one good was the room was clean. The pictures don’t show that the hotel is dated. The rooms are more motel style but glassed in hallways, TVs are outdated, and the showers are made for someone 5’5” max. Also beware that Expedia overcharged us and would not fix the issue

The woman at the front desk was awesome. Kinda has a motel-ish feel to it but better. Room was clean, pool was clean. Longish walk home from the Notre dame game but still walkable.

The room smelled of mildew and there was mold in corner of shower. The indoor pool was unusable as it was so cold and outdoor pool was green, algae.

I like that the property, although spacious there was a close access to entrance and exits. The rooms were a very spacious compared to other hotels. Plenty of space. Service was great and any complaints were acknowledged in a reasonable time frame.

The rooms and facilities were clean and staff was friendly. We liked that we didn't have to leave the hotel to get a bite to eat, as there was a restaurant in the hotel. The only reason I gave this hotel an overall rating of 4 instead of 5 stars was due to the small selection of entrees at the restaurant. My husband and I would have loved a few more options. Otherwise, we had a nice, comfortable stay.

The picture of the rooms weren't quite accurate of the actual rooms. They are overall not bad. But not quite as clean and updated as led to believe by the pictures. Hotel had a very odd smell overall. Wasnt the worst place we have stayed. But i dont think we will be going back there when in the area.

I only stayed one night here. It was clean, the room surprisingly is really nice. Very spacious and I like the way the outside set up is. I personally do not like the bathroom it is very small and the tub and shower curtain was very nasty. Other than that the hotel itself is a nice place. Satisfied all and all.

The desk attendant went out of her way to ensure i felt safe as i was a woman traveling alone. I cannot say enough good things about her, her name was Lexi. The rooms were nice and clean.

fine for the price. the shower was without hot water on day 1. fixed day 2. the water would not fully come out of the shower head, never fixed. the complimentary amenities (shampoo, body lotion) were previously used and a hair was on one of the bottles. the front desk staff were friendly. the breakfast was fair. the gym equipment was average.

Moldy mildew bathroom. Bathroom products were used when we checked in. Noisy crazy air conditioning. Couldn’t sleep every time it would fire up was so loud. TV don’t work. Called for help and was told to move heavy furniture to unplug tv and reset it. Had to do this several times anytime you wanted to watch tv. They said they’d come fix it. Never did. Asked for cups to drink out of which weren’t provided after housekeeping came. Had to go to front desk and they says they’d bring some. Never did. Only stay here as a last resort…

Not what we hoped. First sign was an actual sign saying they weren’t responsible for stolen goods. TV wasn’t working and rugs are just gross. Pool is very noisy if someone is looking for piece and quiet.
One cool thing was the manager flying around on an electric scooter! Now that can be efficient!
We won’t go there again.

The property had to be beautiful in its prime but right now the common area carpet smells so bad! It’s dirty! Our first room also smelled bad, the second room was better. Staff was so nice. Outdoor pool was refreshing but aging indoor oool was clean and nice

We stayed one night on our way to Illinois. It was nice. The breakfast was ok. My one complaint was the shower had no water pressure. Otherwise it was a nice place.

After reading some mixed reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Clover Hotel. It was obvious that they made improvements that were necessary. No negative things to mention. I would recommend for a good value hotel.
