The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to explore Cologne’s main attractions, Christmas markets, shops, and restaurants. While the amenities are basic, it provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a decent place to rest without spending a fortune, this is a solid choice. It’s not luxurious, but it gets the job done.

the room albeit comfort single was a size of a shoebox! However, the location is everything the hotel has to offer; 7 min walk to the Dom/main train station and 5 min to the riverside. i would recommend it to solo travellers.

Outstanding hotel in a great location. Within walking distance of the train station. Close to many restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty to see and do nearby.

Vastly overpriced and the photographs were quite misleading, giving the impression of a much larger, plusher establishment.
The small gestures one normally expects of a hotel charging nearly £300 for one night were lacking. When we requested a small cup of milk for tea we were told it would be billed to our room, and when we asked to borrow a phone charger late at night (admittedly our bad for accidentally leaving ours in the car at the P&R) reception directed us to a sister hotel up the road who flatly refused to assist. Out of the number of hotels we stayed in on this trip through Europe this was by far the most expensive and unsatisfactory. Very disappointed.

We had a wonderful time staying at the hotel! The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding area on foot. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We appreciated the convenient amenities and the attention to detail throughout our visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Liked that it was in the center of the city, many things to do very close by. It was hard to find parking due to blocked off streets, so parking was not very good, but that is not the hotel’s doing.

The property was in very close walking distance to the river and the cathedral, which was fantastic. We ate in the hotel restaurant, which was delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They were able to direct us to the nearby parking garage for our rental car and we got a discount at the rental garage because the hotel marked our parking ticket. Very modern, stylish rooms with air conditioning as we stayed there in July.

Property is located in the heart of the historic area. Steps away from everything. Euro 2024 was on while we stayed and the hotel felt very safe and amazingly quiet considering how close it was located to all the fans. Rooms are spacious and very clean. We had a room with a view of the cathedral. Staff were helpful and very nice. I would certainly stay here again.

We stayed for a week at the start of the Euros for both Scotland games. The hotel was perfectly placed and although right above the busiest fan area, well soundproofed when we did make it to our beds! Clean room, quite neat for size but all good. Wood recommend. We were made to feel very welcome by the hotel and the city of Köln

Great place to explore Cologne

This is a great location, near enough to the Hbf, but a little tricky because you need to walk around the huge cathedral and down some stairs. The area is a pedestrian walking area, but you can drive almost to the front door.
The staff were phenomenal! I was in Cologne doing some business and they gave me a conference room to work in, which was very helpful. Generally, it's a very welcoming place.
Breakfast is also a good deal and goes until 11, which is important if you flew in from North America recently 😀 That extra hour of sleep is critical!

BEAUTIFUL and amazing bedding - top quality - NO AMERICAN AIR CONDITIONER - cannot change the temp of the air except for a few degrees up or down - had a large window which could be opened all the way - but even when cold outside could not keep room cool inside. Shower, bedding and room size all perfect - very high quality! Enjoyed the breakfast!!! Worth it!! Close to everything - walk everywhere …
