We go to Barranquilla every year and we love the Prado hotel. Its location is great, the facilities are beautiful, the pool area is gorgeous. A super clean place, the people who work there are very friendly. The only complaint is the air conditioning. In 9 days we called 3 times because it wasn't cooling well. We think they should work on that more. It's not nice to come in from the street and your room is hot.

The surrounding areas next to the pool are beautiful, the colonial architecture and the palm trees very nice.

I have tried many hotels in Barranquilla El Prado is the best. Reasonably priced, all the staff are amazing, very safe with 24/7 security, atmosphere is lovely, swimming pool is clean and the life guards are very nice and helpful. Dont look any farther when booking a hotel in Barranquilla.

I found the historical part of the hotel intriguing and the architecture. The staff amazing. Our room had bathroom sink that did not drain well and the bathtub was not working well. Shower valve was damaged an it took them 2 days to figure out that they wanted to change the room. We were excessively charged for the airport transport compared to the usual fare at other times. Hotel management reported that they only hired the services that they were not connected to the charges. The hotel heeds a lot of improvement to really be top notch. Its located in an area that is good. I chose this hotel over more modern hotels and I would go back. Thank you.

Good food, friendly staff, but non recomendable for business. Old rooms (even the “renovated”), smells mold, AC not working properly, dirty AC filters, long time for check in and check out, not possible to have more than 4 for a breakfast because them can’t!!! accommodate more people,

Hard to survive with 95 years old. They have to renovate rooms and conference rooms. Otherwise it’ll be difficult to have business conferences: mold smell in the rooms. Air conditioning not working well, deteriorated doors, bathtubs, washrooms, floors, etc

fantastic place.

I used to go to this property a lot really enjoyed it but the first night I was there there was an event on a Wednesday night. They had the music so loud. It was shaking in my room and it kept me up until 3 AM in the morning when they turned it off, and then another event on Saturday night they had the music playing so loud until midnight you could not sleep they’re more worried about having an event instead of the guest having a good nights sleep

I love the hotel is unique and beautiful. The pool is amazing. I would like the hotel add in their rooms, tissues & body mirror. And it will be nice receive complementary bottle water every day.

People is very friendly and make the best effort for our comfort! The hotel is nice, the rooms in the executive tower are spacious, bathroom is old, very old, and small. Definetely the employees make a difference

Our carnaval tickets disappeared from my bag which was in the room. No one took responsability . No apologies . Nothing offered . As if nothing happened . The first day the concierge saw that I had carnaval tickets in double ( the other ones were to our friends and she even commented that we have the most expensive ones . And next afternoon our tickets had disappeared … the same ones that the concierge saw ….) . The shower’s water is not hot it is lukewarm let’s say . For 3 people there is only one tiny complimentary bottle of water. No coffee machine nor tea or water boiler . But the worst was the robbery that no one took responsability . And we are talking about 300$ value tickets …
