Great priced hotel walkable to Shenandoah university. Staff are great .

There were some sketchy people outside of the pool area, that can be accessed from the street

Everyone was helpful and nice. However, the floor space was the smallest of almost any hotel room I have ever stayed in! The sink won’t drain, and the area around the fridge is dirty. Can’t see how to make sure the fridge is at coldest setting. The luggage carts handled well. Can hear people talking next door at 1 AM…

The staff was efficient at check in and the room was clean and comfortable. However, since I do business when traveling, i often use the room television as an additional monitor. By doing so, I dont have to transport additional monitors. Unfortunately, the TV's at this Hampton Inn are not smart TVs, or the HDMI for a mirror image has been disabled. This was most inconvenient as I anticipated being able to use the TV as a monitor and I was unable to work during my stay. The staff at the front desk was of no help. Let me mention that Hilton and Hampton are the only hotels that I have not been able to connect my computer or smart phone to the TV. Because of this, I will limely reconsider using Hampton Inn and Hilton when I travel for business. I understand this is not an issue with Holiday Inn's.

What makes the guest experience? It is the customer service. Great Customer service, thank you for making our stay very pleasant. My only fuss was that they did not mention that the pool did not open till Memorial Day, which I believe should have been stated on the web page. Again, Great Customer service wins it.

Like my last stay at a Hampton inn , it was great!!! Very comfortable and clean!! Breakfast was very good and very clean!!! Thank you Hampton Inn for making a long trip a lot more comfortable 😊

Very clean and close to University

Our stay was very nice. The host greeted us as we walked in. She was extremely nice. The room was neat and clean. Loved the bathroom. Great layout. Fresh warm cookies in the lobby. Nice touch. This is why we always stay at Hampton Inn. We couldn't stay for breakfast but it looked amazing. Coffee was fresh and good.

Everything was great except the refrigerator didn't work.

Staff were personable, room was clean and the bed and linens were comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection. Busy area and accessible to 81.

Hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Desk clerks were pleasant. Breakfaat was....a typical hotel breakfast, but was well stocked and clean.

Lovely welcome from the staff member on reception. Room lovely and clean and beds very comfy, best nights sleep in the last two weeks. Handed a local map of the old town and had a short drive back into the town and visited the museums around. Lovely place. Love tocome back and visit the surrounding battle field sites.
