The hotel is fine, just dated. What ruined our stay was being bitten by bedbugs.

After reading all the bad reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the building is older, but is still in good functioning shape. Despite some dent marks on the walls, all three elevators were working. Our room on the 11th floor was clean and roomy. No cigarette smell and the carpet was relatively new. The bathroom has marble(?) countertop and floor tiles. Looks elegant but the grouts in-between do need cleaning/resurfacing.
The front desk was very helpful. Since a room was available, we were able to check-in around 11 am to drop off our luggage.
With its proximity to the airport, we were able to take Volabus (24-hr Pass for 10 Euro) to and from the City Center for our sightseeing. Inexpensive and convenient.
Also perfect for an early airline flight.
Did not try the restaurant, so no comment.
I will definitely stay at Tower Genova Airport Hotel if I were to visit Genoa again.

Perfect place to stay if you have an early flight. It was a very easy walk right to the airport. There are restaurants at the hotel. The desk clerks helped me order pizza to be delivered. They were very accommodating. There’s somebody at the desk 24 hours a day.

I noticed that this hotel received quite a few negative reviews due to its surroundings (food options, etc.) and lack of courtesy of the staff. In booking a hotel for the low price Tower was charging, it was all I expected. My girlfriend and I walked 10 minutes to Via Sestri, and the street was full of people, shops, eateries, etc. (and that was on a Monday evening, around 5 pm).
In the morning, it was literally a 3-4 minute walk to the airport.
Yes, the property is a bit dated, with little directly adjacent to it, but I would stay there any time I was in need of being close to the airport (or Trenitalia...10 minute walk).

For the location it is a good value hotel but as people have mentioned before it must have been a very prestigious hotel but now it’s showing a lot of signs of wear and tear.On the plus side,very large bedroom.

One of our rooms smelled like smoked to the point that it was not habitable. The hotel was having an event In one of their restaurants and we were told that any other dining options were limited. The menu was very limited anyway.

We arrived late at night the greeting was ok not very welcoming.
The hotel is very dated and in need of an uplift.
The pillows were a waste of time as they were tiny and so so soft and couldn’t get comfortable because of this. It was a superking size bed with only 2 tiny pillows.
I tried to contact reception via the room phone but couldn’t get through.

Very convenient location a short walk from genova airport terminal. Perfect for early flights. My room in the 11th floor had a smell as though people had smoked there and hallways.

It was very practically we came in the night and sleep in this airport hotel and the breakfast was fine

It felt like this hotel wanted to be fancy but wasn’t really there. However, it was still very nice and quiet.

It was very conveniently close to the airport, so we got to bed quickly after a late delayed flight. However, the hotel is a bit dated (a bit like stepping back into the 70s) and they really need to upgrade their pillows at least. Only two very flat pillows were provided for a king bed, and I had an awful sleep because it was like sleeping without a pillow. Ok for one desperate night after a long day of travels, but glad we moved on to our next hotel now!

The hotel is a short walk from the airport. There are many tours there. However, the restaurant had a very tasty buffet, so we got dinner quickly. The decoration of the hotel gives a feeling of the 1940's. I did not expect much from an airport hotel, but it was a good experience.

The Hotel is very worn down, and the breakfast buffer has very low quality food. The staff are not service minded at all. Overall, a practical and clean place to stay, but low quality.

Don’t think to stay in this place I won’t even call it hotel! Everything is dirty and old ( old by using too much ). There was a electrical shutdown and the place stayed without electricity for hours!

The ability for a short walk to the airport the best attribute. The staff is very friendly, The breakfast is average for Italy. The hotel is a bit dated but has a nice bar area both inside and outside. The restaurant is average as well.

There needs to be better access to amenties available. Also, just taxi is brutal there needs to be other options like ebikes, bikes or scooters to get around. The hotel closest to the airport is also a dump. Needs severe renovations.

The hotel was convenient and welcoming, but you can see the finishes are showing their age and in some case in real need of repair. We were surprised by the overwhelming smell of smoke in the room for a "non-smoking" room.

Feels like someone painted an old empty warehouse, threw in the cheapest furniture available and slapped a 4-star rating on there. I have no idea how this hotel qualified for a 4-star rating. Moved to another hotel and wasted two paid days.
