We had several heavy suitcases and this hotel has no elevators and our room was on the second floor. We wouldn’t stay here again due to the lack of an elevator. Their free breakfast is exceptional though!

I thought that being walking distance to the ski mountain that the hotel would be nicer. The lobby was actually very beautiful but the rooms are dark and dreary. There was a nice spot to sit outside with Adirondack chairs, but they were covered in bird crap. The pool had a lot of stuff floating in it. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor, although the very nice man at the desk offered to carry my bags up. My bed sheet had a big hole in it which had to have been noticed by whoever made the bed. I did ask for a new one and they brought it right away. Also I was happy to have daily housekeeping service, which most hotels don’t
bother with anymore. So the staff was good but the facilities not so much. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The BW Tyrolean Lodge is in the town of Sun Valley. It is not in the resort. Rooms at the front face the mountains.
Since we were there in August (NOT ski season) I don't know how one gets to the ski area. The lodge is very close to downtown shopping and restaurants.

Good customer service. Older style perhaps even old world, but, fun. Breakfast was good but typical, so no surprises. With no elevator, these 70 somethings got to work on our thighs with 3rd floor rooms. We would stay again.

Located in an area with lots of trails for walking near the mountain. Quiet. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was super friendly.

The views here are amazing! The staff was so and kind they all went the extra mile. We even got upgraded to a king room because we mentioned it was our anniversary! The breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. There were so many options! Overall, we had the best experience here! You won't be disappointed if you book with place!

Very clean room, quiet and great staff. Didn’t get to enjoy much as the hotel had to offer as we were only there 1 night. But will definitely stay there on our next trip hopefully for a longer stay.

Loved the location, looking out at the slopes rising up to the west. Rooms really should have an exhaust fan in the bathrooms though. It's 2024!

Overall it was a pleasant stay for overnight. Very comfortable bed and clean sheets, fluffy pillows.
Room for improvement in these areas:
TV issues, could not get local channels, only an issue because the Olympics were on.
Waffle maker in dining room and coffee machine in lobby we're both out of service.
Staff was understanding and kind, but it was our of their control to render these issues.
No so bad that I will not return, just hope my stay in the future is a better experience.

This is a more upscale hotel comparing to your regular Best Western, though it isn’t a Hyatt.
The room was fine and clean. Not super new, but alright.
The staff was simply amazing and very helpful with problems that one of our group members had. Big shoutout to them!
Breakfast was great as well. It was a continental breakfast, but a great version of it.
It is a 5 min walk to the downtown.

Older Best Western. But clean and evidence of continuing upgrade. Our first night was a bit hectic, as our door wouldn't lock when we were leaving for dinner reservations. This was a Sunday night. Bert came up and tried to fix. And couldn't. Called maintenance. Couldn't reach. Took initiative and put us in different room. A bit of a pain to change rooms, but OK. Old room door fixed next day, and moved back to it.
This Best Western has the best breakfast of any I have been to in recent years. Good big room. Lots of selections. Fresh everything. Great workout room.
Good place for kids.
Would stay there again in a heart beat.
Highly recommend the staff. And response to any issues.

It was very nice and clean. It is an older property so it doesn't have an elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. The clerk at the front desk did ask us to let him know if we needed help with our luggage. It was just awkward getting luggage up and down. The parking was great. The room was extremely clean. The breakfast was very nice with real plates and silverware. Would recommend!!

Rooms were really small and old. The flooring was coming apart. The beds were terrible with bad sagging in the middle of the mattresses. Will never stay there again.

The pool water was very dirty with debris and oil, and no net to self clean. 5 months in advance, we booked a king and a 2 queen room together and they put us on different floors, on opposite sides of the hotel, the only option to be closer to my MIL and children was to take a queen room for my husband and I. The hotel is older but clean, the beds are on the softer side, but comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine.

This property is in a beautiful location and they make you feel at home! The property is well maintained! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub also the game room and loved the 24 hr espresso machine!

This hotel was lovely. It sits near the base of the ski resorts and has incredible views on the west side, I'd recommend getting a room on the west side. There were fresh baked cookies at the check in desk. I had a king room, it had a feather duvet and pillows, the bed was incredible comfortable and the room was spotless.

We have purposely booked this hotel for the pool however it was closed leaving our kids very disappointed. The pictures from the website we think were misleading as well as our room appeared very dated. The hallways made creeking noises as we walked them too. We really appreciate the staff accomidating us, they were stellar, but the hotel didn't meet what we were looking for and again, all that we could have overlooked had the pool been working for our kids.
