My wife and I absolutely loved the experience and service provided by the hotel and its staff. From check in to during the stay we've loved coming back here after each days adventures! We came to celebrate for our honeymoon and were provided very special and written congratulations by the hotel management along with a mixed cocktail from the hotel for us to celebrate with. We stayed for 6 days and can’t wait to come back!

Diego was the favorite part of our stay, giving incredible hospitality, who is very knowledgeable and has a lovely energy!! We also received a complimentary room upgrade and a bottle of wine for my birthday. Truly a wonderful stay in Santa Barbara!! Couldn’t have asked for more :)

Very comfortable bed and room . Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Just off highway 101 and walk to the harbor so great location. Quiet. Wine and cheese at 430pm and great breakfast

Wonderful place. Gave us an upgrade to a suite. We stayed only one night, would have stayed longer if we could. Nice hot tub and pool, great breakfast included, wine and cheese at happy hour. Staff was great

Had a really comfortable stay. The room style is a little dated, but spacious. We had a separate kitchen, with hob oven full fridge freezer & microwave, lounge area, with separate bedroom & bathroom. I could easily forgive it being a bit dated, because they also give complimentary continental breakfast, complementary wine between 4.30 & 6pm and free use of pedal cycles, helmets & locks. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Excellent value in this location.

I thought the staff was excellent. Check in was a breeze. They offer awesome perks like breakfast, happy hour, and rental bikes to go around Santa Barbara, all for free. we even checked out some free DVDs to watch in the room. The room itself is the perfect middle ground between hotel and Airbnb. There was a kitchen and dining area, as well as a living room to relax in. It really was a great spot to stay. We'll definitely be coming back.

On our trip to Santa Barbara we stayed at Brisas del Mar. Room was very comfortable but a little dated. Our unit had a full kitchen so having a frig and microwave was really nice. The free breakfast was very convenient and was superior to what you'd get at other hotels (e.g., Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, etc). We traveled in/out of Santa Barbara via Amtrak so the location of the hotel a few blocks from the station was great. Only complaint is we could hear the people above us walking around in the evening when we were trying to fall asleep.

Very cute boutique hotel not too far from the beach and downtown. They offer bikes that are in great condition and complimentary as well as a complimentary wine and cheese happy hour which was perfect. Pool was a little chilly at first but great after a hot tub dip. Not much of a gym but they have a few cardio machines. Staff very helpful and friendly with lots of suggestions. I would stay here again!

Our stay at the Brisas del Mar was amazing. The property is very clean and comfortable, and the little extra details like guest happy hour and free good coffee were really cool. The best part of this hotel is the staff- we were hesitant at first after a terrible hotel experience in Malibu, but working with Eli at the Brisas del Mar was great- he took great pains to make sure we would be satisfied and and clearly we were a high priority for him. This is old school hospitality-and it is rare- Props to Eli and Brisas del Mar!

What a fantastic location. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Everything was prepared for our arrival. Very impressed and it’s a shame we are only staying for one night. We will be coming back and recommending it.

The staff was very accommodating. The morning breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The late afternoon cheese and crackers and wine event daily was a nice touch. The option to walk to beach and downtown was perfect. The rooms were well appointed and clean. Comfortable stay!

The hotel staff was amazing. Very friendly and available. The room was clean and modern. The property around the hotel was not desirable. The streets were dirty and had odor. This has nothing to do with the hotel just unfortunately the dynamics of the area. We always felt safe, no issues there. The hotel lobby is delightful and the complimentary breakfast was nice.

We stayed here for our Honeymoon. The front desk was great and we were gifted a special cocktail for the occasion. The breakfast was simple yet had what we needed. Very close to the waterfront which was a huge plus for us. I will say the hotel rooms look a bit old, but still comfy beds and comfortable rooms.

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel has a small inn like charm with lots of hospitality touches like their great free breakfast and happy hour, there were lots of nice places to relax and enjoy these things around the property. There was always someone around taking care of the place. We loved the pool for our kids. The grounds were family friendly but never too crowded. It seemed like a place many different kinds of travelers could enjoy. I could see us enjoying this place without our kids as a romantic getaway as well. My only complaint was that the room was smaller than it seemed in pictures and the “full kitchen” did not have an oven, but they provided a toaster oven upon request so that was nice!

We had a terrific stay at Brisas del Mar. They offer a free breakfast and bike rental. We would definitely stay here again. A short walk to the beach and restaurants on State St.
