I have stayed in this Hôtel many times within a year and took the time to phone ahead to confirm that my room would not be on the ground floor, no problem... Upon my arrival I requested the same thing but was told the expédia clients only have those. My VIP status did not give much unfortunatly. Shower was in bad shape.

Very nice hotel for this area! Always my go to hotel when taking the ferry across the st. Lawrence. Only a few mins from the ferry. The restaurant here is great too

Lights you’re not functional in my room. Pretty awkward when you pay $300 and you have small reading light for the whole room and bathroom. Hotel only gave me a free breakfast which was equivalent to $15.

The location is perfect, and the staff in the restaurant is nice. The cleaness is so so, there was hair in the bathtub and the wall.

Tv ont worked for an hour and then stopped as if it had no more internet or channels .

If you stop in Matane, this place is a must. Rooms are great, service is perfect, pool is awesome. At night you can enjoy a nice campfire by the beach. Strongly recommend to book there

Ive stayed a the Riotel, Matane several times. I love it except that the last 2 years the outdoor pool was closed. Disappointing. The food was delicious. The staff AMAZING💖💙 Bilingual as well.

Beautiful location right on the shore of the St Lawrence. Cargo Restaurant has great food! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna after a long travel day. Lounge areas to enjoy inside and outside around the fire! Such an unexpected comfortable stay!

Very perfect hotel with all the amenities we enjoyed (pool, spa, sauna, bonfire by the beach, good restaurant snd very friendly staff. We recommand it!

Not saying I had a bad experience but I had a bad room . Stayed at this hotel lots of times it's our go to in matane but last night room wasn't great . The toilet was leaking and the dirt behind the toilet was nasty. The staff said there would be a discount but I never seen it yet . Not telling people to not stay there because the good experience we had before was always great . Just wish they would honor the discount.

As a Brazilian, I feel the urge to go to the beach constantly.
This hotel is currently my nearest option from Montreal for a relaxation in a real sea beach. Even if the beach water or the weather is cold, you can do an exercise and also use the sauna before, minimizing the effects from the cold.
If the sauna, jacuzzi and beach access continue to be open on this hotel at least during the summers, I'll surely go there all the time that I want to go to the nearest accessible good beach I know.

We enjoyed our stay. Personnel was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. We would have liked a freshening of the washroom on the second day as we were staying 2 nights and were 3 people in the room. The elevator is slow and busy with cleaning personnel in the morning. It took a while for us to get down to reception from the third floor the morning of our departure.
