It was very close to my sons apt . Everything there was great !! Very friendly !

The guess laundry room needs better washer and dryer machine, the ones it has are from World War II, it doesn't tell you when the wash cycle ends or how long it lasts, and the same with the dryer.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was quiet and spacious. We enjoyed the continental breakfast (especially the pancake maker!). Very convenient access to nearby highway, shopping, and dining options. Reasonably close to our excursions into downtown Chicago.

First impression: I arrived early and noticed a pretty empty lot. I decided to go in and ask if my room was ready around 1-1:30pm. The person at the desk did not greet me but also looked as tho I was a bother. They mentioned that my room was not ready and to come back at 3pm (check in time). No problem. But I was not impressed by their attitude. I shrugged this off. The time was 3:09pm when I made it back to the hotel. Someone else was behind the desk this time and I wanted to check in. They took awhile and when I asked, they finally told me my room wasn’t ready yet. They still had to make a phone call to the cleaners to check if the room was ready. Really? Check in was at 3pm. Check out was 11am. The parking lot was nearly empty. What the heck is going on? I let the man behind me check in as I waited if my room was clean (it clearly wasn't, but the person behind the desk was just buying time). And somehow that person behind me got checked in just fine. Interesting… after they left, I approached the desk once more to check in and they said it’s ready. Why couldn’t I have been moved to another room that was ready? Throughout the day, I was coming back and forth from the hotel and was never greeted. It was the same person who assisted me to check into my room. The only saving grace to this place was the complimentary breakfast, which was nicer than usual. The kitchen staff are kind and greeted us more than reception lol. Dead cockroach in elevator too.

The staff at this hotel needs further training in customer service , the facilities are brilliant but no one really pays attention to customers needs , the check in process for online booking is cumbersome and unfriendly , the methods of payment allowed are too prohibitive for foreign customers, no cash payment is allowed onsite , Pos payment devices do not accept certain bank cards to the point I was forced to sleep in the car on the 26th of June as the hotel could not accept cash payment or deposit while I communicate w my bank to allow my Visa card acceptable at their hotel . A friend in USA offered to pay for me remotely , booking was successful on arrival at the hotel was told we still need the person responsible for payment around in person . That booking on IHG was cheaper but the method of payment was not accepted , We had to cancel the IHG booking , made a new booking on Expedia but the available rooms we wanted were online fully bked or sold out yet the hotel had so many available rooms . The entire checking inprocess took more than 1hrs 30 minutes . And lastly the online booking that my personal Assistant initially made on IHG for my 23rd July check in had added adv of transport from the airport on receiving the confirmation email for my there was a message to say no shuttle services available on Sundays and Saturdays since 23 March 2023 , an old sys generated message had not been removed after it expired 1 yr ago. Had to hire Uber

Good basic hotel with nice breakfast options. Only thing that could be improved is having breakfast available a bit longer on the weekends, it was closed down at 930am.

Love Holiday Inn and enjoyed staying there! only Toilet flushing was something wrong. (however, it was fixed right away after I send message to front desk)

Pleased with ease of check-in and cleanliness of property. Great pillows but the bed was too hard.

I like the breakfast service which serves rice and miso soup.
