Overall hotel was nice and the only thing i could say is the shower was dirty, didn't provide hardly any information and not much breakfast variety.

I love the renovated rooms. The layout and new furniture are great. There are still some renovations ongoing but they didn’t impact my stay. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was great! Our room was newly remodeled. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the shower was the best of any shower I’ve ever had. The bathroom was big and the room was spacious. The breakfast was good also. Great price!

My room was at the end of the hallway by the door, so I heard the door slam all evening. Walls are super thin, I could hear a woman coughing allllll night long

Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We were in town for an out patient surgery, so we had booked an accessible room. We were very pleased with our clean comfortable room. Breakfast was impressive. Scrambled eggs, sausage with potatoes and seasoning or you could get just sausage and just potatoes, there were scrambled eggs, pancake machine, waffles along with varius pastries, yogurt etc.
Despite some remodeling going on the hotel was very neat and clean inside and out.
There are plenty of near by restaurants and stores within walking distance.
We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely king suite bed was amazing and pillows and cleanliness of linens as well as plenty of bath towels. Pool was Very nice but feel it should be open til 11pm on the weekends. Room furniture very accommodating & nice 42” TV nice lighting options n decor & very peaceful

The staff here was amazing! We came in late and they called us to confirm our arrival and when i made an offhand comment to my husband about being sore and stiff from being in the car the kind lady at the feont desk made sure we had a room close to the elevator so it wouldn't be a long walk. They are clearly doing some remodel work but its clean and the room was lovely. Would stay again for sure.

The room was newly renovated—new furnishings, etc., but the mattress was tooooo soft. The bathroom had a large recess available for the shower, but the shower was tub size. The staff was friendly, but the lobby and elevator were undergoing renovation and quite unattractive.

I do appreciate that they are finally doing updates to this hotel as they are needed. I understand things will be noisier and dirtier, but you do have to stay on top of that even during construction

The staff was great, but the hotel itself was under MAJOR construction. It had a horrible fire smell, and so many areas were having to be redone. The elevator was trashed. But regardless of what must have been recent large damages they still put out breakfast (though no one would eat in that area, people would take it back to their rooms). The staff were friendly and the room was nice. There were a couple restaurants directly near the hotel as well as grocery stores. Over all I wouldn’t have stayed if I knew that they were undergoing such heavy construction as it didn’t make our little vacation feel as nice. Once everything is completed, I’d recommend the place to others.

Stayed here for a quick overnight stay while on a road trip because it was convenient, close to many dining options and it had a reasonable price. The property is under a renovation project so the lobby and first floor is in rough condition. But our room was wonderful! It seemed brand new, very clean and comfortable. The beds were great and the amount of space was impressive. Breakfast was good. Once this property’s renovation is completed it should be even better.

Construction going on every day from sun up till sun down. Dust everywhere. Painting every hall, the lobby, breakfast area so lot of paint smells. Had to beg for extra towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, garbage bags coffee pods. Beds were awful with plastic protector that bunches up.

Whole hotel was under construction. Shocked to see every surface stripped. Offered us a room on an upper floor which was going to have flooring glued all week. Imagine the fumes! AND no elevators which violates Disability Act. We had to cancel and find last minute room elsewhere.

We stayed at Comfort Suites South recently while in Fort Wayne. They are currently undergoing renovations and upgrades but the finished rooms were very nice and up to date. The rooms were also very clean. The only issue was that the towel racks and towel hooks had not been installed yet. But that was the only issue in the room.
The hotel also offered free breakfast every morning. The food was really good for the price! Different options everyday.
And the staff were all amazing and very friendly and very courteous. This is now my go to hotel in Fort Wayne!

The kind staff largely made up for the fact that the hotel is currently under construction. Our room was remodeled and nice. The lobby, first floor and elevators were rough. Breakfast service every day is 6-9, so on the weekend everyone who wanted to sleep in was there at 8:45 and they couldn’t keep up with the demand for coffee and waffles.
I imagine it will be nice once construction is over, but trying to navigate breakfast in the mess was unpleasant. Maybe just offer a discount during construction and no breakfast?

Terrible the hotel was under construction. They wouldn’t allow me to use the card I brought for incidentals so I had to have my friend put it on her card and send her the money the breakfast was disgusting and had to take it back to the room because there was so much dust in the lobby from construction they didn’t have any pool towels and the pool area outside had nasty old beds and couches in it from the construction going on

This hotel is being renovated. I was in a room that was already renovated, but it already showed wear and grime and parts that didn’t work well. The wifi is poor and the “tech support” number they gave me literally doesn’t exist. The staff are nice, but there’s not much they can do about anything. I appreciated there being coffee in the lobby, because the coffee maker in my room didn’t work at all. Avoid this hotel.
