Hotel did not honor rate from hotels.com, charging me $25 more plus $15 for parking even though we were far from the downtown district.

The property is need of an update which I’ve been advised is happening. The Holiday Inn South of the Hampton Inn is owned by the same entity that owns the Hampton. The two properties will be switched in the coming weeks/months.
I assume with that there will be updates. Let’s hope so I love staying in St Augustine at our Hampton Inn, Historical District. Did I tell you they have breakfast included? Yep, they do!!

Room was very clean, smelled clean. Was spacious and accommodating for five people including 2 teenage boys. Would definitely stay again!

Room was clean and as expected but our room was not ready at check in so we waited an hour and a half, still not ready so we had to leave to the beach unrefreshed with a full car. It was a large inconvenience for us.
Also expedia said all fees were paid for and the hotel tried to charge us an additional $15 FOR PARKING. Im not aware of such practices with any other hotel. Slightly disappointed.

The hotel itself was decent although a bit outdated. We rented 2 suites that were very spacious. However, they were both facing the street where we could hear all the passing traffic.

The staff was excellent, the dining area was clean and food was fresh and the server was nice. Our room however was not the best. There was no soap, shampoo/conditioner, the sink was not cleaned very well, and the toilet ran unless you giggle d the handle. Which was an issue. Over all we like Hampton Inns.

Average room with above average price. Very low water pressure in sink. Breakfast was ok but not as good as other Hampton Inns we’ve stayed at. Not as close to the historic district as we would have liked. Staff was cordial and the free water was appreciated.

Hotel was average quality in terms of the room. Unfortunately, despite sharing a parking with a sister hotel next door, there is not enough parking for all patrons if you get to your room in the evening, particularly weekend stays. Another flawed design, they’ve set “fitness rooms” on the ends of each floor and if you are placed next to or below those rooms, you may be unpleasantly woken by people working out in the early morning dropping weights. I’d assume having fitness rooms on first floor and changing those to actual rooms would make more sense. Breakfast provided was ok, but on weekend, you may not have a place to sit and eat it. Will not stay here again.

Room was very small. No dresser's. Tiny closet. No room to even walk through the room, only one foot between bed and TV stand. Old hotel.

The hotel was amazing in general.Staff members were super nice. The hotel also has breakfast included,and the food was super delicious. When I entered the room it was clean also the bathroom.The hotel is placed near everything, the castle , the fountain of youth,and much more. I really enjoyed and I recommend this hotel.

Carpet needed vacuuming, water in sink came out in a slow dribble, sheets and towel worn, light levels overly dim, smallest room in any Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed in. They even charged $10 for self parking on the property—something I’ve never experienced before. I’ve always been very comfortable with this chain, but this property felt like a cheap motel. Definitely would not recommend!

Everything about the hotel was okay except being charged $10.00 per day for parking. Guests should NOT be accessed a parking fee. Not a customer friendly practice.

I give this property a 3.5. I would stay again. I think the customer service was great despite the mishap with my room. I was supposed to have an adjoining room with a friend, it got messed up. However the staff did what they could to make it right. I’m a hard rate with cleanliness because I always think a hotel could be cleaner. The breakfast was just okay. I try to find hotels with complimentary breakfast when traveling with children because it’s fun for them. I wouldn’t say anything is wrong with the hotel. Just things that could be better. I slept great, enjoyed the hot tub, and staff was excellent. I would absolutely stay again.

We were never told there was a $10 parking fee per day--only placed $50 on credit card for extras during stay at hotel's request. For the price of the room, parking should have been included in the price.
