check in easy, TV did not work had to move rooms room clean but long hair over shower and peanuts on carpet. free breakfast did once because it was not worth getting up early enough on other days. I would say 2.5 star

The only good thing about this location was Mr. Singh. The property is very dated, needs repairs, dirty the room smelled a swearty gym locker and the pool was cold, the spa looks very dated. I"ll never stay there again. I was told that the owner cuts corners to make a larger profit.

Gave me the key at 4am to an aleady occupied room. Almost got attacked by the dog in that room and weird eye contact with the couples on bed. The washroom doors were aged. Receptionist was missing at 4am, showed up after calling their phone number.

Just quick over night. Good rates vary satisfied. San Diego to Orem UT. Slept like A baby.

AC wasn't working properly, but we made do. Very clean and tidy. Would stay here again.

Pool dirty

It was an ok visit. I showed up at 3 to check in and i was asked to wait as they didnt have any rooms cleaned out. I did it was ok even though me and my family were tired from driving through the night. Overall, we received an out of order room. The phone didnt work so i used my personal phone to reach front desk. The floor was filled with pet hair. The ac didnt work on our 2nd night. It was so humid. Then the shower knobs were broken. First night the knob for 2nd shower head came off from the water pressure. It was so strong, im glad i wasnt giving my baby a bath at the time but my other family member was hit with the water pressure glad it wasnt so severe. I will definitely not be staying here again.

Maid service either none when requested or partial. Only one small trash can in a two room suite. Very dirty carpet. Outside noise distracting for sleep. My husband did not get breakfast one morning because they ran out of food and we could not wait an hour for replenishment due to other commitments. Will not stay here again.

On arrival our desk clerk greeted us with a smile and welcomed us. Check in was amazingly quick but not rushed through at all. The process was conducted in a friendly AND professional manner (those two can and should coexist). She explained everything to us but was not robotic about it. Presentation was natural even though she’s likely given it thousands of times before. Our rooms were clean, everything worked as it should, no bugs, no other unexpected roommates. Bedding, sheets, towels, linens were all clean. Shower, sink, commode were all clean. Breakfast was laid out early enough, the waffles were delightful, my only (VERY minor) issue was that the coffee tasted like hotel coffee, not as terrible as truck stop coffee, and still quite drinkable. But then again, we didn’t stay at La Q for the coffee, so that’s a reasonable thing. We wanted a clean, safe comfortable room and we were not disappointed. We are happy to see the standards being kept up by La Quinta, and recommend the facility to all travelers needing lodgings for their road weary selves. Oh! Almost forgot, the pool, the hot tub and the workout room. We didn’t use them but we did look them over. Also clean very useable no broken or duct taped equipment. The standards in effect at the time of our stay were excellent!

Property was run down. Door handle to room was janky and hard to use. Hallway's smelled musty and there were no forks at the breakfast.

I booked a room with double beds. Double beds are very small. It’s my own fault for not thinking about the size but my 2 teenagers had a hard time fitting in one bed, while my husband and I equally had a hard time fitting in the bed. Staff was understanding but didn’t have a room with 2 bigger beds in it so nothing could really be done. I am rating the room for lack of cleanliness though as there was a need for a good vacuuming and mopping that needed to be done.

They were very helpful and the installation are clean and quiet

We booked a single night stay here to serve as a halfway rest point for our road trip. Very friendly service, clean rooms, and even a good complimentary breakfast! Overall a positive stay, glad we booked here and will be staying again on our way back home.

The internet did not work correctly. The hotel advertized a water view for my room and there was none.

Very clean and comfortable

We had a nice room with a view. The room was spacious and had nice chairs to sit in. Apparently there was an ant problem at the hotel because we could smell raid and we had ants in our room.

Vacation

The hotel is what we expected. Not terrible and friendly staff. Unfortunately, there was a very loud and high pitch sound that started around midnight and ran consistently through the time we checked out. Sounded like a busted pipe in the wall. Rattled the wall and kept us up.

The staff was okay but not super friendly or helpful. The maid service was great and the breakfast lady was great as well. Hotel was clean but little dated. Outside doors couple of them didn't close correctly so anyone could enter at any time of day. It was really warm days and AC kept the room comfortable but not nice and cool for sleeping. Bathroom was clean and great.

This property is quiet and has adequate parking with access to the hotel facility from several locations. The rooms were clean but in need of minor repairs. We reserved a room for five but the rooms only accommodate four. All in all, our stay was quite pleasant and comfortable. Unfortunately for us, our initial room had plumbing problems in the middle of the night but we were quickly relocated to another unit, then another unit and then another unit to our discomfort but satisfaction. Also , vehicle access is easy as you drive east on University Parkway but requires a number of side roads if you’re driving west towards I-15. Breakfast was great and it was nice to have several options to choose from. Check in and check out was quick and easy. There is a weird problem with the room key cards not working but a quick visit to the front desk fixed it.

There was fresh blood and lipstick on the sheets. Trash on the floor. They had to put us in a different room.

The room was beautiful and larger than some rooms I've stayed in. I could tell they had been updating it. They still needed to redo the bath tub as the finish was coming off and looked icky, although it was fine and clean. The staff were so kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Was an Ok hotel, pool/jacuzzi and hot breakfast. The negatives were the bathroom sinks water was super weak and so it took a long time to wash your hands. Also the shower head had a constant leak that made noise that was very noticeable at night. The pool area is very humid. They need to turn on the AC in that room. One day when we wanted to go swimming the pool was closed for a long time. Wasn't the worse place but Maintenance could be better

We loved the La Quinta in Orem! Breakfast was impressive. Everything felt clean. I appreciated the quality of soap and shampoo provided. My only complaint was that there were several random things (our mini-fridge and microwave, most of the machines in the workout room) that just weren't plugged in, so I had to trace the cords and move furniture around a little bit to get them to work. Other than that, things were fantastic.

The staff were all friendly, efficient, and happy to assist. Check in was quick and courteous.
