Our room was clean and it appeared as if it had been recently remodeled. The shower head was not very good (some hard-water plugged holes / inconsistent spray) but we only stayed one night so not a big deal. The front desk attendant had very strong body odor..strong-enough to mention it here. The pillows were not full size, but there were 4 so we each got two. It was called a king bed, but the size might have been queen.

Took a chance after reading the reviews which were mostly positive. Property itself was clean and remodeled, however we left after one night due to noise. Had a king size room with a connecting door to the next room. We could hear EVERYTHING, absolutely no sound insulation. Hallway was noisy with people slamming doors etc. I went down around 10:30 to the desk to see about changing rooms, before getting there I could hear staff giggling and a conversation with a male that was quite loud and I wasn’t even to the end of the hall. I turned around figuring they wouldn’t take my noise complaint seriously considering how noisy they were. It did finally quiet down around 12:30am.

Hot tub was lukewarm at best. Only 2 jets worked with little pressure. Certainly a let down.

Smells like the property has mold. The facilities should be tested for mold. As soon as one opens their door to the room, mold smell hits.

Other than seeing where the hotel was and getting there everything was great. I wish there was some signage on Stewart Ave letting people know where to turn. Even my GPS was confused.

Very good place to stay for the Big Bull Falls Blues Festival nights in Wausau. Many other festers did also. It is on the festival shuttle route. Liked the sausage-egg-cheese wrapped bkfst sandwiches to heat in micro but at 9:40 am I got last one out in small fridge. I suppose there is a guest pilfering concern with those. Maybe at least a sign saying please take only what you will eat here this morning? IF your room is toward west end of long single hallway building, you'll get some free exercise going to/from entrance-brkfst-pool rooms. Pool looked good-didn't use.

What a pleasant surprise this was! After a very late check-in I found my room (#148) to be very clean and updated. Breakfast had more options than usual including breakfast sandwiches.

The only issue I had was I did the pre check in but when I got to the front desk, I still had to show my I.D. sign a contract which I did during the pre-check in. I still had to spend 10 min at the counter.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. There were some tiles that I found in the bottom of the hot tub that had come off. We told a maintenance man, but he went home for the night.

It was a good stay as always, the pool being open 24 hours is great, anytime you get in it's so convenient to just go to the pool and relax. Rooms are clean and comfy with all the stuff you need, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in every room, I will definitely stay again

Staff was friendly! Fridge with little freezer in the room with a microwave. Breakfast was ok but very slim pickings by 8:30-9am. Sausage egg and cheese biscuits were gone, and waffle batter was gone. It was hard boiled eggs and muffins and yogurt left.
2 of our 3 nights, early morning- like 4:30, you could hear people shuffling around in their rooms like dragging their feet as they walked. Being the floors are linoleum, the sound isn't absorbed well like carpet does.
Everything was clean, a/c worked great and wasn't too loud.
Overall i was happy for the price- just those few things.

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable, the front desk took forever to find my early check in and told me didnt have it even though was charged the $30 i had to pull up emails to prove it.

The place was nice and comfortable. Found the warning signs in the pool area amusing. Also the depth of the pool signs were misleading. Check them out if you stay here. :O)
