Great location, good breakfast, very friendly staff

Rooms were nice. They do need to be worked on. Toilet was loose. One of the light switches did not work. The door was rotten ion the bottom which did not let it close properly. It needed some repair work to the wall under the sink.

A lot of thing wrong with room when I told the front desk they said they would get maintenance to look into it but never came by or have us change rooms

Having bears roam freely on the grounds made the stay enjoyable! The rooms were okay, nothing to write home about. No hair dryer or usb plug ins. No tub shelves and the shower curtain was too short.

Very comfortable bed and close to everything.

The check in process was good and the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Walking distance to the strip was good. Nice Hotel

It was ok, I didn’t get the room I had booked online. I was supposed to get a king bed with a soaker tub in room, but when I checked in, was told because we had dogs we couldn’t have that room. It shouldn’t be available online if it wasn’t an option. I selected pet friendly hotel! Also was charged more than it said online for pets…. $25 a day for each pet is expensive, and was not informed of this until the day of check in by email. So it was too late to get a refund for the stay! Online it said $10 extra for pets!!! Why the big charge if you don’t want pets there just advertise it that way. I understand some dogs make messes… maybe inspect the room upon check out and price accordingly!!! Oh wait that would mean they had to work, sorry. We won’t stay there again! Also pets don’t like linoleum floors!

Booked two rooms for my family, they had the better of the two rooms. Smahed bug on ceiling, head boards dust and visible hand prints from previous gueats. Mini fridge rusted, carpet not vacuumed. Ac united needed cleaned out smell came out of it with ac or heat.

Jazzuci didnt work, no hot water, fireplace didnt work. Employees didn't care. We asked to move rooms and told no. Mold growing in rooms. Not clean. Tiles and flooring falling apart.

Front desk was very nice and accommodating. We've stayed here many times and its one of the best in Gatlinburg. We love watching the bears from the rooms on the hill. Right downtown easy to get to anything inside Gatlinburg.

This hotel was in an extremely convenient location to the park. It was very outdated & could use updates to the bed, carpet, bathroom. Everything worked but very old. We also did not like the fact that the hotel was spread out over several buildings. We had to walk up/down a giant hill and walk a half block to the lobby/breakfast area.

We booked at the last minute. They had a room with a king bed available. We had another hotel booked but further away from our destination, so we looked this hotel up within the hour that we needed a room. They had one. Very friendly. Nice room.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! We checked in around 5:30pm and the first room we went into the beds were completely untouched from the previous guests. I understand that for the price and location it won't be the most updated place, but you can at least change the sheets before we arrive! The pictures on the web do not do justice at all!!! The building literally looked like it was falling apart, and the bathrooms were so dirty it's like they don't clean at all. We asked to get a room change and they gave us another room that the beds were made but the bathroom and everything else you could tell were still very dirty. The doorknob was loose, I was so afraid someone was going to be able to break in. They included "free breakfast" we decided not to eat there since the whole thing was disgusting. We weren't the only ones with this issue they were another family that seemed to have the same issue I saw them go in one room right after we arrived and switched to the other building in front a couple of minutes later. Here are the pictures of the room we walked into. Didn't even get a discount or refund at all just an "oh I'm sorry about that". We paid over $350 ONE night Thursday-Friday October 10-11. No holidays or weekend stay. (we paid extra because we had two small yorkies) And they told us they couldn't give us a better room then that because of the animals. I understand all that but sheesh at least give me something that is upkept. Wall to ceiling was dirty!!! Unbelievable!

Our stay was just fine. The hotel is older,but in a wonderful location. It would be crazy to complain, because of the price. We enjoyed having a jacuzzi in our room. That turned out to be a bonus,and they are pet friendly. The staff were the best part. They were all helpful and happy to help with anything.

Stay was good price good

The guest service employees were great. The room was not cleaned well, smell like mold and the bathroom was a biohazard with fecal matter on the wall. This property charges for parking now where they never did in the past. All things considered, we won’t be staying again. Additionally, there are two elevators but only one that works. Only one luggage cart in total. I hate how the owners just let their properties go. Good thing there are many choices.

Booked a non-smoking room the room absolutely stunk of cigarette smell. We asked to be moved with moved to another room. It stunk just bad. The bathroom was dirty did not clean the toilet

Front desk guy is friendly and knows how to give a good customer service Easy and quick check in and out.

This place is located downtown.Easy walk everywhere. Just park and go. Could use a little upgrade. Staff was very friendly.

The room assigned did not match the room on the website. They changed our room but had to take queen beds instead of a king. Blamed it on expedia for not booking the right room.

This hotel is disgusting the room is not clean There is dust in room everywhere. The floor is dirty. There is a mold in the bathroom. The service is rude. !!!!! I have never been hotel like this in my life. !!!!!

Staff is excellent. But our accomodation was not up to mark. First room which was given to us was terrible, extremely stinky, floor was sticky if you walk barefoot, felt like someone vomitted on the floor . We immediately asked the receptionist to change our room which they agreed to. Second room was little better but the bathroom has the drainage problem while taking shower which was not good. They charged extra for parking and some extra charge on top of the room booking which we did. you can have bear sighting frequently over there (they say it is friendly bear which roams around quite often).This hotel is in downtown of Gatlinburg so walkable distance for any activity nearby.

Great location Excellent staff

The service was fine. I would say there is a lack of regular maintenance, like how my door would only unlatch if I pulled up on it instead of down and scuff marks all over the walls of the room that could easily be painted over. The room was clean but the area going out the front door of the building had a cigarette butt and broken glass in the floor the entire weekend I was there.

Very walkable to shops and restaurants. So much to do surrounding the hotel. Service was excellent! Breakfast items were typical. Room was a bit dated. However, we were in a pet friendly room. The room I booked was nicer and more updated but the desk informed me that certain rooms are given to people with a pet.

Arrived at property and were immediately hit with a hidden and unexpected non-refundable pet fee that wasn’t listed anywhere on the booking page. We were initially given a room that had a roach under the sheets. The room was dirty in general and had a lot of stains and wear & tear. The bathroom also had spiderwebs with spiders in the corners. It looked like housekeeping had swept and mopped but little else as far as cleaning. We notified the staff and they accommodated us with a room that was a little bit better but not anywhere near what we were expecting. The staff overall were friendly and helpful but due to the state of the rooms we won’t be staying here again, nor would I recommend it.
