We have stayed in a few Novotel hotels before and this one wasn’t great. The room was a lot smaller than the one in Novotel Brussels and we were positioned above the restaurant/ bar area, which was noisy. The room was too hot, as the air conditioning had been changed to warm air. We asked for the broken safe in the room to be fixed but this was never done. The floor in the breakfast area was very sticky. As a family we didn’t enjoy our stay here but on a positive, the location is pretty good.

Hotel was good, location is great. Rooms need a bit of help with the plumbing. Bathroom sink didn’t drain well, needed to tell the front desk to fill the soap dispenser in the bathroom and to swap out towels all of which they did right away.

Enjoyed my stay at Novotel Lille Centre Gares last week. Front desk staff spoke English which was very helpful! Room was clean and quiet. Walking distance to train station as well as nice restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast choices were good. Kids area very helpful in keeping children entertained whilst waiting, lobby is spacious. Convenient location for Lille station and also not far from old town. Easy walk from Eurostar station.

The hotel is fine, very nice looking and clean. My main complaint is that our beds were not very comfortable. Mattress on one bed was too hard, it was too worn out on the other.

Was advertised as breakfast and dinner to be told due to covid 19 no dinner and breakfast only basic and cold!. Parking not available so additional cost local area run down and poor.

We were a family of 4 and the room was definitely a little tight once the sofa turned into a bed. The room was clean and the mini fridge items were a nice touch, but the beds were not very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location easily walkable to everything you would want to see in Lille. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Overall just ok mainly because of the beds and room size.

The hotel location was very good, as was the reception hall and breakfast area.
The bedrooms were disappointing, needed a good lick of paint! The bathrooms however were okay. Overall the hotel is definitely more fitting of a decent 3 star, than a 4 star hotel.

It is a right place to stay for families. We stayed at one of the suites which was not only cost effective but also comfortable, clean and beyond the standards.

Our desk and tables were not clean in the room and the lobby. Toilet system looked blocked, we heard the same complaints from other guest at the reception. Bed was fine though. In general it looked dirty and not well maintained. Staff at reception and restaurant was very friendly, but looked not very professional in their way of runnig the restaurant and breakfast. Maybe due to the holiday season there was lack of experienced staff... Location is great though!

Desk person was extremely helpful. Business center was broken, so had to email to hotel if wanted anything printed-which is probably a non starter for many. We did not get breakfast there. Downstairs was really nice. Rooms alright. Fitness center fine, although dumbbell sets would help it. Initial deposit (beyond cost) very high, only exceeded by rental car deposit at train station.
