Considering the construction going on in the main lobby and breakfast area, they did a great job. the breakfast was in a hallway, but trays were provided and all the choices you could want were there. Lots of protein, fruit, real milk, good coffee....

I have stayed at the Madison Inn for years, whenever I visit Spokane. I appreciate the location, the convenience of parking and the feeling of safety in the area.This time, I had asked for a room facing North, with a view of the city; I was given a room facing south, view level with parking lot. Didn't feel comfortable opening curtains. Noisy with people outside entering hotel.The switch for the fan in the bathroom did not work. The freezer unit in the refrigerator was totally ripped out. The general condition has deteriorated during my past few visits.

A great value for Spokane. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good. Very close to Sacred Heart hospital.

We chose this location because it is within walking distance to Climate Pledge Arena. It also has its own parking behind the hotel, which is good until 4pm the next day, so we were able to walk to the Space Needle/be tourists the next day as well and not hassle with parking. There is a Starbucks attached to the lobby, and surrounding dining options are diverse. Rooftop access with a city view, but we didn’t do that. The snack bag was a nice touch in the room. The rating wasn’t perfect because the parking lot elevator was pretty slow (we waited a while for it a few times during our stay), but that’s very minimal to me. We’d definitely go back.

Stayed here as it is walking distance to the hospital. Great hot breakfast with several options (omelet, sausage, biscuits/gravy, waffle, fruit, yogurt….). Several dining options within walking distance. Fair pricing. They were able to get me in last minute (I wasn’t planning on spending the night but my dad had a medical emergency). They had a spare toothbrush/toothpaste for me. All shampoo/conditioner/lotion was in the room too. Staff were very kind. They also have a discount for hospital visitors, but my Web site price was pretty low/comparable.

The staff was amazing. Breakfast was good! Shower did not get hot. Luke warm at best. Only 1 packet of coffee in the room. Coffee in the lobby was super weak. My son thought the window was open with how noisy it was (there was a main about 150’ from our window that loud vehicles like to speed up and down in the middle of the night). It wasn’t terrible. Just be prepared for a not so hot shower, bring your own coffee (and creamer if you don’t like plain creamer). Do not suggest staying here if you need quiet to sleep. The staff was amazing though. Really good people. Free popcorn in the lobby was an added bonus. I would stay there again. Price was good compared to others in the area.

I can easily walk to and from the hotel to Sacred Heart Hospital where my husband is a patient. So nice I don't have to fuss about parking, plus I get some exercise and fresh air. Fun to see the wildlife on my two block walk, wild turkeys and deer.

I stay here regularly. Room 303 is below maybe a laundry room. At rougly 0630am there was a constant sliding of some large device acrros the floor, my ceiling. Woke me up early. Wasnt good.

We liked this area of Spokane and discovered the Manitou Park which was amazing and perfect for walking our small dogs. If you need to access downtown, there is good proximity.

Stayed here by myself with my kids age ranging in age from 2-14. Room was clean and we felt safe the whole time. Bonus, they let us bring food to our room which was amazing because the 2 year old does not just sit and eat. Overall good experience and i would definitely book again.

Pros: Very clean and quiet and accepts a dog; good place if you are using the medical facilities but not for restaurants or sightseeing/points of interest
Cons: Google Maps does not bring you to the location and access point to the parking lot; evening staff didn't even know about restaurants right next door (which are sort of hidden from view), so we wasted an hour trying to find restaurants on the I-5 and gave up; area downhill from the hotel and hospitals is unsafe.
Hotel could benefit by having a detailed map of all the one-way streets and endings of streets, as it was a nightmare to navigate to get to and from the hotel.
