Clean good staff

Gd clean handy in the centre.

We’ve stayed here a dozen times, and loved it, but this time it got run down.

Central location in Duisburg.

The hotel need a big update everything is old. Sauna opens at 6 pm till 10 pm. I would never stay hier

Worst hotel experince for a long time.

Oh my…worst hotel room in recent memory and we travel a lot. The Holiday Inn Express we stayed at off the highway the night before to cut our long drive in half was a million times better (and quite a bit cheaper with free breakfast and free parking). We’ve actually stayed here before (mother-in-law lives in Duisburg) and booked because we found the room to be good last time. Well, apparently we had a renovated room last time (which was over 5 years ago) and this time we got a tiny, old room with ZERO shower privacy. Literally, the shower was in the walkway between the front door and the bed (glass door, fully exposed). No big deal for me and my husband, but the STRANGEST shower set-up we have ever seen in well over 150 hotels around the world. The shower also had some mold around the edges. The room was also only prepared for one guest as there was only one bath towel and one blanket on the bed (many German hotels have individual blankets instead of a double blanket). The hotel is well positioned and the breakfast was decent, but it’s definitely showing it’s age with wear and tear. Carpets are dingy and need replacing. Walls need to be repainted. Now I understand why the review score has plummeted. We will definitely look for a new hotel in Duisburg for our next visit.

As a regular visitor and staying for more than one night I got a nice upgrade is this wonderfully situated hotel

Nice rooms, good breakfast, and easy transport to the airport. Great value.

Fairly recently renovated rooms which we’re comfortable, the shower was great, bar was pretty good and food was also absolutely fine. Pretty good spread at breakfast. Only real issue was that if staying on floor one the ceiling, whilst high, isn’t very sound proof, so was woken up early on a few nights which is less than ideal.

Central to everything. Felt like a first class German hotel instead of a holiday inn.

Not cleaning the rooms good

The exterior pictures of the hotel make it seem like it’s more grand than it truly is. For the price it was fine and really liked the heated floors in the bathroom. Very close to restaurants and shopping.

Service prima.

We have stayed here quite a few times but never in the summer and the room was boiling hot and no Air con, so had to leave window wide open to try and sleep but then there was so much singing outside and traffic noise we hardly slept.

The hot water in the shower was barely lukewarm. Everything else was fine but that is a disaster.

The breakfast was excellent and had all you could need. The staff was professional and friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was my internet kept dropping constantly. I was on the 4th floor. Maybe it ain’t this bad on lower floors but I’m talking literally every 2 minutes. Another thing I really like was the location. Close to all you need! Malls, restaurants, food courts, etc

Good quality, personal friendly, location convenient

Quite a nice hotel overall. The wi fi doesn't reach the fourth floor which is very annoying and needs fixing if they want to attract business users. The 'gym' could do with a rack of weights.

Hotel was very clean and well located. Our stay wouldve been 100% if the rooms were air conditioned as when we stayed the weather was very warm.

Great central location. Hot rooms with no air conditioning but outside this hot summer the rooms are great.
